Whether you need plastics assembly, cutting of plastic sheet rod or tube, or precision plastics machining, Norcen has what it takes to deliver. We offer complete precision machining for plastics including 3-axis, 4-axis, and 5-axis CNC plastic milling and 8-axis CNC plastic turning to close tolerances.
Services
Norcen initially started in 1967 by two men with a dream. They started in a 5,000 square foot facility as mainly a plastics distributor. Eventually, after the company was put into a sole owner, they started the machine shop side of the business. Even with the new side of the business in the equation, we were still the largest raw plastics distributor in the area.
Whether your part is made from low carbon steel or the hardest of exotic alloys, Norcen Industries can machine any metal, including all classes of stainless steel, to tolerances as little as.0002. Most machined parts are produced by using a combination of processes including milling, turning, grinding, and EDM.
We are a Mitsubishi Chemical Advance Material dealer, so we can service all your M.C.A.M Engineering and all other plastic needs. To get the job done right, your project needs the right materials. So when you need plastics Material, Norcen has the experience and knowledge and Customer Service Expertise to help you select the best plastic to meet your needs at an affordable price, whether it be sheet, rod, or tube.
Acetal provides high strength and stiffness coupled with enhanced dimensional stability and ease of machining. As a semi-crystalline material, acetal is also characterized by a low coefficient of friction and good wear properties - especially in wet environments. Because acetal absorbs minimal amounts of moisture, its physical properties remain constant in a variety of environments.
Acrylic, often times referred to by it's tradename, Plexiglass, is a transparent plastic material that is often times a replacement for glass due to its clarity and transparency and at half the weight of glass and more impact resistant, you can't really go wrong. Acrylic has outstanding strength, stiffness and optical clarity.

Sold us sub-par plastic. It was full of porosity and other defects. Cost us over 12k revenue. Don't trust 'em!
