Our parent company, Mertz Auto Parts Company, started over 50 years ago in Sunbury, PA, with a partnership between two cousins, Robert "Bob" and Richard "Dick" Mertz. Within several years a third partner, Roy "Check" Adams, was brought into the business. Over the years, the business evolved into two separate divisions-our used truck parts salvage yard and the addition of our machine shop, MAPCO.
We have been selling quality parts to our customers at our salvage yard for years. Our inventory focuses on hard-to-find parts but changes rapidly. Our salvage yard has many different manufacturers and configurations of trucks. We moved the business to its present location and expanded the services over the years to include driveshaft assembly, u-bolt bending, and hydraulic hose assembly.

Had them shorten a driveshaft for a truck project, when I talked to them about an estimate they said it would be over two weeks, but I got a call the next day they said it was done. Its a bit of a hike for me to get there but its well worth the trip. They even sanded it and painted it for me, which I did not expect, all for like 110 bucks. I will definitly be giving them more buisness in the future. Only reason for the 4 stars was I didnt have a mask and they were pretty rude about it, made me stand outside on a pretty cold day while waiting for the clerk to get the measurements for the driveshaft
