Our Potability Package or Conventional Package, as outlined below, is the most common package for individuals to determine the composition and health of their well. This package allows us to assess the clients' well water for outside influence as well as outline the physical, chemical, and biological properties of the water you consume.
Based on your specific situation and concerns, we will be able to create a personalized package to fit your needs by choosing from the individual parameters outlined below. Please call in advance for pricing and availability. To avoid a non-productive site visit, Community Environmental Labs offers complimentary chlorine test packets.
If a pink color is present you will need to continue running water for about 8 more hours or longer, then repeat instructions. Let the water stand in the plumbing for a minimum of 6 hours (and a recommended maximum of 18 hours). This is referred to as a "First Draw" sample. Place a plastic bag over the tap.
Please reach us at celab.inc@gmail.com or call us at 410-273-7600 if you cannot find an answer to your question. If your house uses a private well, you should consider testing your water once a year to assure you have safe drinking water. We recommend our conventional (basic) package, which includes tests for total coliform and Escherichia coli bacteria, nitrates, pH, sand, and turbidity.
Each sheet states possible sources, health effects, home damage effects, and how to fix the problem. Source: Total coliform bacteria is a classification of numerous different bacteria of the coliform group. These organisms are very common and are found in large quantities in the soil down to about forty-fifty feet.
