Fox Lake Campground of Bemidji is a family vacation campground - a place for kids of all ages to have fun. Enjoy a paddle around the lake or pull up a chair next to a neighbor and chat. Guests can also enjoy the playground, Gaga Ball, volleyball area, basketball court, game room, lending library, and pool table.
Let the campground be your vacation base station! The Mississippi Headwaters at Itasca State Park makes for a great day trip! Movil Maze Recreation Area is just down the road from the campground - bring your mountain bike or go for a hike! Concordia Language Village is about 12 miles away. Sit on the dock and dip your toes in the lake as you watch the sun go down.

Services
Fox Lake Campground is a family friendly campground known for its casual atmosphere and the guests enjoying the lake. Fox Lake is connected to the Turtle River Chain of Lakes. Kids of all ages can be found relaxing at the beach or taking a kayak, paddle boat, canoe, or standup paddle board out on the water.
One RV or one tent per site. Limited to one unit per campsite. If you are coming with your RV and want to put up a tent, you will need to book another campsite for that tent. Ice Castle Fish House-type trailers: please put wood blocks below the unit so it's not lowered down on the grass. The questionnaire needs to be filled out each year to remain on the Seasonal site waiting list.
Those on the waiting list should fill out the Questionnaire each summer to remain on the waiting list. Friendly reminder, incoming RVs need to be younger than 10 years old to be considered to be a Seasonal at Fox Lake Campground. F.L.C. has around 40 seasonal campers that call this place "home". Some of those guests are newer to the campground, while a lot have been coming to Fox Lake for many years, some have been camping here for around 30 years. Friendships have been made and good times have been had! Seasonal units need to have a solid sewer pipe, not the flexible tubes/pipe (per the Department of Health).
The following policies are in place to ensure that the four-legged-friends, their owners, and the rest of the campground guests are enjoying their stay. Dogs must be on a 6 feet (or under) leash and connected to their owner when they are outside of their R.V. or tent. The dogs must be under control at all times.

The campground itself is gorgeous- the view is hard to beat! Lots to do and the swimming beach is wonderful!
However, if you have a large group (family/friend reunion, etc.) I would NOT recommend Fox Lake. The quiet hours and other rules are strictly enforced and we were unhappy with how the staff interacted with our group.

Absolutely wonderful campground. It's clean and quiet. Great for families and just getting away. The showers and restrooms are always clean. The front office staff is easy to talk to and get help for whatever reason. They have paddle boats, canoes, and kayaks to checkout. Great ice cream and inexpensive firewood.
We will definitely stay here again when we come up north.

Cannot say enough good words about this RV park. Greeted at office. Escorted to camping spot. Camp clean and spotless. The host are great people. We camped beside the parents of one of the host and they were great also My wife has health problems and they offered us use of there golf car. A bad storm came up and they took us to the storm shelter and all ended well. So many water toys to use all included such as paddle boats, canoes. You name it. Evening extremely quite for sitting around campfire listening to the loons, beside the best hand scooped ice cream cones. Great camping with children welcomed

In a time where customer service seems to be lacking, the Fox lake campground is absolutely above standards in this area. By far the cleanest most welcoming place I've been to in a very long time. Professional and experienced staff made it a joy to come to visit my son and his family. The beach area is wonderful clean and kid friendly. Recommended highly buy a lifetime camper.

Just returned home from a 3 night stay with FIVE other families. It was a fantastic time!

Fox Lake Campground has everything for a fun camping experience. They really take care to provide clean restroom and shower areas, beautiful benches at the playground and beach area, FREE use of a canoe and multiple kayaks, beach toys. The ice cream at the neat and clean store was yummy. My family of 7 rented a pontoon for a day and we were able to go to Fox Lake and the connecting Beltrami Lake. The kids enjoyed fishing and swimming at their fun beach with a slide and giant swimming pad. I highly recommend this campground!!
