We have been camping here for about 20 years, a family reunion every 4th of July. Prices have tripled and no improvements have been made, last year electricity was out for 2 days and no compensations was given. The hook up for campers are not safe and the out house was deplorable. If they want to keep charging more every year, than please improve the conditions. We have no choice in where we go because this is close to my mother. Also use to be buy 6 nights and 7th was free, know we pay more for 6 nights .

We stayed over the Forth of July in 2020. We had issues when we tried to unhook our popup camper. One of the staff came to help us, and helped when we left. But the staff in general went above and beyond to make sure we has a great stay. Everything is kept very clean. We had lots of fun swimming with our kids, and the water is so clean. WE WILL GO AGAIN!!!

This may very well be the best lake in Minnesota to swim at.
The water was the perfect temperature the hot July day we swam, and there was the slightest of breezes and clear skies. The water extremely clear with minimal plant life, and the drop off is not horrifying as some can be. The beach isn't very good, but we didn't care at all. You can see all the way to the other end of the lake and it is quite charming and beautiful. The facilities are also quite nice and clean, and the parking lot is extremely close.
In summary this is the dream Minnesota lake, with nature and infrastructure mixed perfectly

It's a nice little place to camp. Covid causes the shower to close pretty early (5pm the day we were there) which is kind of inconvenient when the kids are all sandy from swimming. The beach is great and even shaded late in the day. The bathroom/showers were also on one side of the campground, not centrally located so it can be quite a hike depending on where you are.
