Membership is open and limited to people living, working, worshipping, owning property, or attending an educational institution in the Michigan Counties of Alpena, Cheboygan, Emmet or Presque Isle; employees of Calcite CU, immediate families of these listed; a spouse of a deceased member if accepted prior to remarriage; and any legal entity that is comprised for the most part of the same general group as the membership outlined above.

An automated payment (ACH) is a regular, ongoing payment that is initiated from your bank account, such as:. Credit union membership is ownership. We are not-for-profit and exist only for the financial benefit of our membership. When the Michigan Credit Union Foundation (MCUF) began offering a grant during the pandemic to give back to essential workers, Calcite Credit Union jumped at the opportunity to show support for their community. Calcite Credit Union donated $5000, and the MCUF matched that donation to allow our institution to spread a total of $10,000 around the 5 counties we serve.

I signed up for an account from the good reviews in comparison to another CU in town. I have felt mixed reviews since. The customer service seems short and bothered when I have called and went through the drive through. I wish I could just deal with the atm but they don’t take deposits unfortunately

I would like to thank the Cheboygan Office of Calcite Credit Union. Especially Yuri. They have been very helpful with trying to get my Birth Certificate from California. A long and drawn out process. I have finally received my Birth Certificate and have applied for and received my updated Driver's License. I can now fly (on airplanes_)! Once again THANK YOU Cheboygan office and Yuri.
