We had no hot water so no shower . It was New Years Eve and the bar closed At 11:30. That being said the staff in the restaurant were very kind. Ruth, Tyler, Deb and Crystal were very attentive. They worked very hard to make up for unavoidable staff shortages. Maybe a good option for summer but disappointed for Nee Years. Had hoped the fire pits would be lit for drinks outdoors. Nothing.

Had my destination wedding here. I gave 2 stars because I understand being short staffed and overwhelmed due to COVID. The communication up until 2 weeks of my wedding were great. Trusted the coordinator, but was extremely disappointed the day of my wedding which shouldn’t be the day to be disappointed. Room service 2 hour wait or more, rude staff, and several mistakes made. We were compensated our rooms, and a small refund, but not exactly what I expected for a 4 star hotel, and for the cost of having a wedding there. Really disappointed because I had loved this hotel for many years. Location

I’ve been here before. Always great service. We brought popcorn bags but had no microwave, so I went to the service desk to ask if they could pop it for us, and they did us one better and brought a microwave to our room for us. We had also brought an air mattress but no sheets so we called down and they brought up some sheets. My cousin and I went down to the bar after the Christmas parade to eat some dessert after realizing the ice cream shop didn’t have ice cream. We both thought the workers were cute! We wrote a note to one of them with my number on it!! Turns out he was older than we thought

First time stay at this fairly new hotel. Outstanding location right on the water and guests can sit and eat dinner and/or drinks while watching the ships go by. It’s my understanding that they are having a tough time getting enough employees ( like everywhere else) but they did their best. They don’t clean your room daily because of Covid and the employee shortage ( understandable). There was a wedding both Friday and Saturday night which was lovely to watch. We had both breakfast and dinner on the patio which were good. The hotel is walking distance to everything in the small town of Clayton

A very nice stay. We spent a long weekend here before the season really started. (We actually found more to do here in Clayton than Alexandria Bay). Room itself very nice, pool available, just book a time slot, limited to 10 people at once. Restaurant great for breakfast, not so many choices for dinner, but understandable as it wasn't busy. Limited room service available all night, so it's great if you missed dinner elsewhere. Staff very friendly. A nice area to walk around, will be nice to visit during the summer season.
