Joining the Air Force at 21, she served throughout the US and England before settling in Clovis, NM, where she met her husband, Ernest, in 2000. She left active duty for the Air Force Reserves and to work in print and television advertising. She was honorably discharged in 2014 as a Master Sergeant.
As part of a meaningful celebration of life, family and friends may wish to gather for a special time of remembrance with a balloon release. Releasing balloons helps us say goodbye in a unique way, allowing us to experience greater closure and healing as we "release" our emotions and grief. After the passing of my dear mother I leaned on Steed Todd to help me with the final arrangements. They were so helpful and genuinely kind during the entire process. I had to converse with Natalie and Jennifer quite frequently and they answered all my questions thoroughly and professionally. They have even checked in with me since the funeral to ask how I was doing.

It took 5 days for the funeral home to bring the deceased from Roswell to Clovis. Visitation was planned for the evening that he arrived from Roswell from 6 to 7 pm. The immediate family arrived at 5pm to have some private time before the public. We were told that visitation was supposed to begin at 6. They asked for a little time to get things ready. Then we were shown into a very small room. It was discovered that a jacket left behind by a family member when arrangements were being made had been added to the clothing on the deceased. No call had been made to find out if this jacket was part of

Natalie is by far the best person I've ever worked with professionally, especially during such a difficult time. She showed my family so much compassion, patience, and care. I could tell management wasn't super pleased with all the time we needed for numerous things, but Natalie never blinked an eye at anything we needed. After-death arrangements aren't easy or cheap. It's been months, and she's still checking in on us. Frankly, my family and I will follow her wherever she goes, so long as it's local. I hope Steed Todd knows how good they have it with her! You found a gem! Don't let her go. People

When I lost my sister to cancer, I found myself planning yet another funeral. I chose Steed-Todd because both of my parents funerals were held there. After the funeral home took my sister’s body I called and made an appointment to arrange her service and went in the following day. I was met by Natalie who could not have been anymore supportive, sympathetic or any nicer.She was an angel sent by God! She took her time to talk with me, to get to know my sister a bit and went way above and beyond to help me to show my sister a dignified, beautiful military service. Natalie and her staff were very professional and their attention to detail was very much appreciated. As difficult as this time was for our family we were extremely pleased with how beautiful the services turned out. We were also grateful for Natalie going above and beyond in helping out our family with hotel accommodations for all of our guests who traveled from out of town. This was a very emotional time and the efforts and thoughtfulness put forth by everyone was outstanding. I highly recommend Steed Todd Funeral Home!

Steve and his crew at Steed Todd Funeral Home were amazing. The compassion that they showed during this difficult time was very heartfelt. They showed the same compassion when my brother passed away and that was the main reason my mom always said to choose them when it was her time to pass.
