Scheduled an appointment for brakes and rotors. Took them 8 hours to inspect and was told the quote was going to be $1300, and that's without a part which wasn't looked up, and a 50 dollar inspection fee on top of that of what I told them was wrong.
This kind of work should be near the 500 dollar line for year and make similar to what I brought in, I've had the exact work done else where. Unfortunately my regular shop is down because of covid so I had to do some searching around.
Told them I needed that work done Thursday, on Tuesday when some worker behind me comes up and starts yelling at me

Oil tech ( with 30yrs experience ) installed the filter on 2014 Camry incorrectly. Over-tightened the filter crushing the seal, didn't check to make sure it was sealed correctly after the oil change. Wife drove car home and the engine lost oil pressure.
They towed car back to the shop, filled it with oil put new filter on and brought the car back. Discussed it with shop owner who said when they got it he car had plenty of oil in it and should be OK.
Owner also mentioned mote than once he towed the car back to his shop for free. Feeling that was a significant offer towards standing behind the

Disappointed. When they changed my oil they installed a new oil plug. A couple days later I notice my car was leaking a lot of oil. Took it back to get fixed and brought my own oil plug for them to install. They wanted me to pay for the $14 for the quart of oil they had to add back in. I told them I didn't think that was appropriate so I was able to talk them out of making me pay for that. I also asked for a refund on the bad oil plug they sold me and they wouldn't offer that. I was sold a bad part causing a bad oil leak and then I was expected to pay for the bad part and to refill the oil reservoir

Went in looking at all terrain tires. Discussed all terrain tires and was quoted for the same. Requested a different brand, dropped off vehicle, and when I picked it up, the tires, which I expected to be all terrain, since that's what we discussed, were in fact, highway tread tires. NOT what I wanted. I never discussed highway, only all terrain, so why would I expect highway just because I wanted a different brand? Obviously they don't know what they are selling. Won't be back.

I got stranded when my car wouldn't start. Called Valley Autohaus, they said they can be there to jumpstart car in 15-20 mins (this was very close in town), and a friendly and capable service guy showed up. Unfortunately, my car still wouldn't start; so they went through all the necessary steps to help me out: quoting, towing car to my dealership, giving me choices of what my options were and explaining them, and working with my car insurance.
I would highly recommend this place for service and will certainly consider it for my future car needs. I found the communication to be very down to earth

I had my car in for an auto detailing. When I arrived to pick it up, the Office Manager, Brooke, noticed that some areas in the interior were overlooked. She apologized and offered a discount in the overall charge. I appreciated that she checked my car before I paid, she was meticulous in her assessment and her honesty and professionalism in acknowledging that some areas were missed.

The nicest, most polite tow company I've ever seen. These folks were courteous and were able to service my vehicle the Sunday before Christmas Eve on a very cold night. They were very understanding and very accommodating of my needs. I live four hours from Northfield and they were able to guide me through some of the woes which came from being so far from home. I have only positive things to say about these guys and will be sure to remember their gracious attitude. Mary Christmas indeed.

My axle broke, and I got towed to Valley Autohaus. The next day they examined my car, let me know they needed to get the right part in order to fix it. Then they went above and beyond by finding the part at a really good price. I really appreciated that! And then, even though I was out of town, they communicated with me clearly and consistently about my car's status.

Great place!! From the Boston area and have my daughter here attending college. Good to know that there are still honest people in this world. My daughter has had a few issues with an older car that she has out here in Northfield. Anytime she has had an issue they take care of the problem without taking advantage of a young college kid. Highly recommend. Professional and honest business. Piece of mind for the parent that is on the other side of the country!!

Family w/ 2 preteen kids was traveling from out of state to Blaine on I-35. Car battery went dead (while driving after 12 hours) an hour away from Blaine on side of highway. We called our insurance and they sent out Rich.
Nicest guy. Very concerned that it was evening and we were stranded. Towed us back to the shop, which was closed. We were pretty sure it was the alternator. Still opened up for us and let our kids sit indoors on a hot day. He tested our battery right there instead of waiting till the next day. Turns out it was our Costco interstate battery. Found a way to get us a new Interstate
