I think certain management do the best they can but there are some filthy residents. Some buildings have a significant amount of trash around them and are roach infested. After notifying management of this, they took their precious time handling it. As of 12/05/2021 my building and personal kitchen remains infested despite my cleanliness.

It can sometimes be difficult to reach someone but the people I have spoken with have been very polite and kind.
Edit: Communication has certainly gotten better and I'm really grateful, so I've upped my four star rating to a 5. As a new tenant, all the comments have said it and I'll dogpile on, but Sam is an MVP and Wendy and Brenda were also very sweet and pleasant. I will add that if you're a novice to renting (which I wasn't new, per se, but it is massively different to go from a private landlord to an apartment complex), please pay attention to the breakdown given of all charges. For example

The Tapestry on Vaughn is a great place to live! Very reasonably priced. Extremely convenient location. Only minutes away from the Eastern Blvd in one direction and The Shoppes at Eastchase in the other direction. I lived here for 3 years from August 2018 - August 2021. I always found the management staff to be very friendly and accommodating.

It just amazes me how this complex can NEVER answer the phone but will send out text messages, emails with bills, or if you go to the front office, everyone is up there but not doing too much. I’ve had complaints & questions, and I’ve left messages but no reply. Until I can get a call or a response, I feel there is no reason to answer

I recently moved to Montgomery after a divorce and needed a place to live. One of my girlfriends suggested The Tapestry. She said to ask for Mr. Samuel Tyson. Of course, because of the COVID-19, I wasn't able to enter the office but I appreciated the complex for following health and safety guidelines. Today I went in apartment searching and was greeted with a warm smile by Joyce who introduced herself as the Assistant Manager. I came with many questions and she was able to answer them all with no hesitation which shows that she is very knowledgeable of the property (which is very important to me). She was extremely patient and helpful this is most definitely my #1 out of the six places I visited today. I couldn’t let the day end without writing a review in regards to customer service. 5 stars most definitely!

My daughter lived at the Tapestry on Vaughn for a year! When she was leaving the residence, we had Joyce Mann make sure that all was taken care of from the walk through to the end of the paperwork!!!! She was AMAZING !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Her personality was so helpful, kind, and genuine !!!! She was our calm against the storm we encountered with the manager. Joyce also worked with our invoice and made the corrections. Her co-worker Sam was so kind and polite and helpful as well. TheTapestry apartment complex is very blessed to have these 2 people working for you. Joyce should be the one that is managing

What an awesome experience I had with helping someone with their move-in process. The office staff was so professional and got things done in a timely manner. I am just speechless about the outstanding communication skills and follow up time frame that Sam had. He has great communication skills. The move in process was perfect and right on time. I feel so proud and good about referring someone to this property. The apartment looked fabulous at move-in. Call and ask for Sam.

The apartments themselves are in decent shape; I have a unit with a nice renovated kitchen. I also had few issues with noise and had no trouble finding parking near my unit. The location is good too, being close to many shops and restaurants.
However, maintenance can be slow to fix things. Also, today I came home to find a carbon monoxide alarm installed in my unit. While it's nice to have, I wish I'd received advanced notice from management that they planned to have maintenance come into my apartment to install it.
