I’ve been buying bikes and having them serviced here since I was a teenager and I cannot believe how I was just treated. We brought our son’s bike in for an adjustment but they didn’t fix the problem, they handed it back to me exactly the way I brought it to them, the second try they said it was “as good as they could get it “ but it still wasn’t fixed. Then they tell me for a few more dollars then what they charged me to do nothing they could have put a better derailer on it but didn’t tell us at the time. The guy even acknowledged they failed to inform us of the better fix then

J-Town Bicycle tuned up an old beach bike that had been sitting in my parent’s garage with just as much enthusiasm, friendliness and efficiency as they would have had for a high end racing bike. I am no stranger to bike shops. Bike shop experiences usually go 1 of 2 ways - they are elitist and create a feeling of 'not cool enough' or they are super kind and create an atmosphere of comfort. Amazing service!!! Just when I thought my bike was doomed and I was going to need a new one I brought it in and an employ named Chris helped me out and provided me with various things that they could do to make my bike better. Well, I walked in to repair my BMC time machine ... this is the 3 rd shop I tried in the area and finally I found a place where people are nice to you. They are welcoming and willing to help. They managed to set up my bike and it is riding like brand new ! Good job guys !

Great place to buy a bike. We were looking for a beach cruiser having just moved down from NY and Mike was so helpful and knowledgeable - he made the buying process so easy.
