Fine Arts Academy Of Dance was established in 1979, under the direction of founder/owner Julia Giovannoni-Hamill. Fine Arts Academy boasts an all-professional staff, with industry credits that include movies, television, stage, music videos and musical theatre. The Academy offers classes in Ballet, Hip Hop, Tap, Jazz, Lyrical, Contemporary, Ballroom, and Street Funk.
Class ages start at age 2 1/2 through adults, with levels of dance for beginners through professional. Providing " Quality Dance Training With The Emphasis On Technique" Fine Arts has over 35 years of experience training award winning dancers as well as Tiny Tots and offers stage, and performing experience.

Julie Hamill has taught dance in the Orange County area for over 40 years. She is the founder and director of Fine Arts Academy of Dance. Established in 1979, Fine Arts Academy of Dance was the first dance school in Diamond Bar.
Growing up in Orange County she was able to study with L. A.'s and Orange County's finest teachers including Linda Sohl-Ellison, Leann Alduenda, L. A's classics such as Jimmie DeFore, Stefan Wenta, Roland Dupree, Gus Giordano, Stanley Holden, and Joe Tremaine.

TUITION is due and payable on the first lesson of the month. We give multiple lesson discounts on monthly tuition rates for siblings once each student is taking 2 classes. Monthly rates are based on an average of four lessons per month. We do not charge extra for months that have five lessons, as these extra lessons compensate for scheduled holidays during the year.

My children have been attending Fine Arts Academy of Dance since 2011. Both girls and my son, feel like it’s their second home. They started from the very first level and all the teachers are amazing professionals who are talented and skilled in their form of dance. They are also highly recognized professionals in the industry. Unlike many studios in the area, Fine Arts teaches several forms and all levels of dance, such as: tap, ballet, pointe, jazz, hip hop, and contemporary.

Fine Arts Academy of Dance has not only been a second home to my daughters but a place where they have learned technique and the beauty of dance. The recitals are amazing and the ballet performances are always beautiful. The ballet director has a gift for training young ballerinas to reach their potential. Fine Arts has opened doors for job opportunities in the dance industry. I can’t imagine having my girls dance any where else.

My daughter loves her dance school. They are focused on technique and put on a professional performance once every 18 months. This school is for all the little dancers out there who dream about being a professional dancer when they grow up because this school will take them there. And the price is right. The teachers are great and the lady at the desk is helpful, accommodating and friendly! This school is also great if you just want to try it.
