Lucky Strike Tattoo began in 2003 as a one man shop in downtown Quakertown, Pa! Since 2003, we have grown into a 4,200 sq ft studio, completely outfitted with eight tattoo stations, a piercing room and a permanent makeup room. We have eight artists to chose from, so we are positive we will be able to capture your vision and create a one of a kind tattoo or body piercing for you!.
In addition to tattooing, body piercing, and permanent make-up, we offer free permanent make-up for cancer survivors including breast cancer survivors. We work closely with several local Doctors, so give us a call for more information. Our mission at Lucky Strike Tattoo is to provide our clients with tattoos and piercings that are unique and customized towards their own personal style and self-expression.

Services
James has been a Professional Piercer for over a decade. His work is professional, progressive, and perfectly placed! He is honest with his piercing opinions, his focus to meet the needs of each client and providing them with a piercing that works with their body. He is dedicated to his craft and strives to stay informed with new and evolving piercing techniques, creating piercings that heal well and last!
We are blessed to have eight amazing artists, whom are all award winners at the largest Tattoo Convention in the world, which is held every year in Philadelphia. We tattoo all styles including photo-realism portraits and we have extensive experience in reworks and cover ups!. We are all certified in Bloodborne Pathogen Prevention and practices proper Cross-Contamination Procedures.
We use a dermal wrap as an initial healing wrap on all our tattoos. What is a dermal wrap? It's a thin medical grade adhesive wrap that creates a bacterial barrier which eliminates contamination of the tattoo area and promotes quicker healing. For ALL OTHER TATTOOS: Keep the dermal wrap on for 12-24 hours.
There is no "ONE WAY" to care for a tattoo. It varies based on each individual body type and the way in which the body heals itself. Lifestyle is extremely impactful on healing a tattoo. So we suggest taking your multi-vitamin (if you take one), eating healthy (your fruits and veggies) and getting a good night's sleep!

I had an amazing experience with Leah! She took an idea that I could only vaguely articulate and created a beautiful piece of art which I'm proud to now have tattooed on my back. She constantly checked in on me during the tattooing process and was happy to chat with me while tattooing (which I prefer instead of silence). I highly recommend Leah and Lucky Strike Tattoo!

Went there to get my septum pierced a little bit ago. Very nice people with decent pricing. The only problem was they didn't give me any opinions for rings so I had to request a different one. The other problem I had was when he pierced it he did not use a tool to make sure it was completely straight. So now I finally have the piercing I wanted but it is crooked. As I said very nice but not exactly what I expected from a piercer.

What an amazing team!! Each artist has their own unique styles, so there's something for everyone here.
Paul has done beautiful cover ups for friends, but I'm absolutely in love with the pieces he created for me. I'm so excited to see what else he's come up with to complete the mural we've started on my leg.
Also, HUGE shout out to James for fixing the daith piercing I had done elsewhere that wouldn't quite heal. He helped me figure out why, then resolved the issue by replacing the jewelry with a piece that actually fit right.

3 mini tattoos done here; my daughter had her's done here too. We love them! 2 different artists but they listened to what we wanted and gave us perfection. Being in the medical field I appreciate the cleanliness and asceptic techniques, plus the aftercare instructions. This is a class act ...would and have recommended to friends.

Jen at Lucky Strike did a great job on my Eagles tattoo, however, her demeanor left much to be desired. She didn't greet me or call me by my name. This was my first and only tattoo. I mentioned that I was nervous but she never acknowledged me and only asked me once during the 90 minutes if I was ok. I know this isn't a spa but common courtesy would have been appreciated,

I came here for my first tattoo after a recommendation from a friend who has gotten her three tattoos all by Johnny. My mom and I wanted matching, realistic gerbera daisies. Richie did them for us and I couldn't be happier! He didn't talk a whole lot which I personally prefer since I'm not big on small talk, but he was very polite and so willing to work with us. He designed the flowers a little bigger than we'd wanted which put them a little over our budget, so he scaled them down a bit and made them fit within our budget. Plus the daisies are gorgeous and the price can&apos

If you are looking for top quality tattoo work from a great group of people, lucky strike is the best place to go! I reached out to Emily for help in covering up an eye sore on my back. It was horrible and I was so unhappy. Before committing to that, Emily drew up a GORGEOUS mandala piece for my shoulder/collar bone area. Her line work was perfection and she took her time and did a phenomenal job. I was so happy with my piece that we went ahead and began working on my cover up. She was so easy to work with and really put all she had into drawing up the perfect design for me. This is her first cover

I've had half a dozen pieces done by both Matt and John. Their work is incredible and worth every penny. I recommend them hands down over any artist in the greater philly area.
The shop is like a family, the art is incredible and the location is perfect. If you saw their old shop from many years ago then you know how far they've come.
I live in Atlanta now and still ride up to quakertown to get a bit added or a piece re-inked. I wouldnt have it any other way.

Matt did my first tattoo about a year and a half ago. This past weekend he did #5 for me (he also did #2 thru #4).
Everyone at Matt's shop is friendly, easy to talk to, the kind of people you would want to hangout with. The place is spotless, Matt is neat and meticulous with his setup, his designs and how he talks to his customers.
I've referred 2 friends and they loved their experience. If you are a veteran or a newbie, stop by, bring doughnuts or some Mexican food from down the street...you won't be disappointed!!!

Matt (owner) has done all my work and I do miss having this place around now that I moved. Matt does awesome custom work, though over the years has gotten very booked up. Which is good to see him busy, but don't think you can walk in all the time and get him to tattoo that minute. But you never know. :) The new studio is really nice too. I often found myself coming in here just to talk to the staff.
