Highlands is blessed with six excellent private country clubs; Cullasaja Club, Highlands Country Club, Highlands Falls Country Club, Old Edwards Club, Mountaintop Golf & Lake Club and Wildcat Cliffs Country Club.
Featuring less than 300 homes, Cullasaja Club offers members "Simply the Perfect Life". Members enjoy an active lifestye. The Activity Center features a fitness are and a golf training system. Fitness opportunites provide a time for members to enjoy Pilates, clogging classes and water aerobics. The staff is available to assist and guide members through a variety of fitness programs and techniques.
Highlands Falls Country Club is a 550 acre private, member-owned, gated club surrounded by the Nantahala National Forest. There are approximately 400 properties which blend into the forest greenery. Club members can enjoy many amenities such as golf, tennis, hiking, fishing, spa services and a state-of-the-art fitness center.
Mountaintop Golf & Lake Club is a private, equity membership, mountain retreat focusing on golf, mountain lake recreation and unforgettable family fun. The mountain-lodge style clubhouse is the gathering spot for members. At the clubhouse you can enjoy recreational options such as the beautiful resort-style swimming pool and a world-class spa offering massage therapy, beauty and skin care treatments, and salon services to name just a few.
Old Edwards Club is a 6,699 yard, par 71 course located at Highlands Cove that was designed by Tom Jackson of Greenville. The Highlands Cove facility was recently purchased by the Old Edwards Inn and has been converted from a public facility to a private club for the use of members and Old Edwards Inn guests.
