Hmm Bangor doesn't have a lot of places i could think of for a quick dine in breakfast eatery with reliably good food at a fast pace - which is loud and impersonal enough to hold an office meeting.
Well - if that's something you are looking for - this is a good place. Conversations are drowned out in the loud general buzz at this busy breakfast eatery in downtown Bangor.

My wife and I were waking around Bangor trying to find a place to eat breakfest and noticed a lot of the places were closed. I'm extremely happy this wasn't one of those. The bagels were fresh as you'd want and tasted delicious. They have a number of different baked goods and many drink and coffee choices. I finally had the opportunity to explore downtown Bangor and a stop at Bagel Central was definitely on my top list of priorities since my daughter highly recommended it to me. When I stepped inside, I found it to be so charming! I loved the variety of seating including bar-style seating along the expansive front windows where you can people-watch to your heart's content. There are also regular tables as well as many long tables so Bagel Central can easily accommodate groups of most any size. Thankful we listened to her recommendation! We stopped in on our way to Acadia national park! There were so many options but the staff were kind in helping us choose an option for a full Maine experience! I ordered the gluten free lox bagel and my husband ordered the bagel which (garlic bagel with egg, cheese and crumbled bacon). We both ate half on our way to Acadia and saved the other half for lunch in the park! The bagels were wonderful and full of flavor. If we stayed in Banghor longer we would defiantly be back.

Amazing that they're open during COVID. Love the onion bagel with either jalapeño cream cheese or scallion. Gave one star less than perfect because of the chairs.
Due to my larger friends not feeling comfortable here, it's taken me an extra few days to be able to go as I went alone to avoid them being uncomfortable. Would reccomend getting new, sturdier chairs! Keep being great.
