Be the first to receive news of events, new menu items, and great deals with free food and valuable coupons! Free Birthday Dinner Certificate is valid for up to $15 and must be used on the date specified on the certificate, if we are closed on that day the coupon may be used the day prior or the day after.
Banquet Rooms are available for private functions at our Hampden and Newport stores and they can be reserved for private parties of 25 or more. You are welcome to order from the menu or we can work with you to create a menu that fits your budget. Reservations are first come, first serve. We are already booking parties for the 2014 Holiday Season and openings do fill up fast so act now!

We had never been here before. A friend of my husband had mentioned about how good it was. So we happened to go by it and decided to stop and try it out. We had the fish and chips which included two sides. The fish was very good. And the side, fried mushrooms and sweet potatoe fries were done very very nicely. Will he back at some point for sure.

My boyfriend and I were several hours in to a very cold motorcycle ride this past weekend when we happened to find Anglers. The food was good (and hot) and the service was fast. It was a great place to stop for a quick bite before we continued to Bar Harbor/Acadia. Perfect location for a late lunch. We will be back!

Anglers has Home-style cooking in good sized portions. The meals are well priced for the size dishes you get and each meal is very well prepared.
Amazing service (our server was Meg, she was a darling). When I arrived the place was packed but I was able to get a table rather shortly. Had to wait for the rest of my party to arrive but by the time everyone arrived we had our drinks, and apps had been freshly delivered. Not a long wait for our meals at all.
Definitely recommend for a nice, quiet evening with family, friends, or significant other :)

Very good food and even better people. As a retired Army officer I was touched by the fallen soldier table they keep set up. Not only did I have one of the best lobster roll sandwiches I ate while vacationing up there, I also had the 100% best chowder of any I've eaten, ever. The server was a very sweet lady who has worked there for 15 years and she took the time to share with us some of the other good seafood places in the area. A great experience in a clean, bright, and friendly family-style restaurant.

Very happy with this find. Driving from NY to Acadia and need to find restaurant by pretty late. Not too many restaurants opens at 7:30 and offers Maine's local catch. We wasn't big fan of fried stuff, but Anglers made it right. The fried baby shrimp has a light coating and are very sweet. The lobster roll has lots of lobster meat and very fresh tasting. The boiled haddock is juicy and no fishy smell. The coleslaw is also very good. We are all very impressed with the food taste and quality. Spent about $100 for 4 adults and 1 kids. Good price for seafood. We also messed up the order when we call
