In 1975, Roland and Wendy Intrator decided to relocate from California to North Carolina. In-house moving- we can do the smallest of jobs whether rearranging the furniture or preparing for a home renovation or remodel. Antiques- our experienced movers have a keen eye for special pieces and an extensive knowledge of how to best handle various antiques. We offer climate-controlled storage in our secure warehouse facility to our moving customers.

You can pick supplies up at our office located at 7401 Rex Rd, Unit 104, Chapel Hill, NC 27516. You will need to call ahead to make an appointment as we are in and out of the office quite a bit. If you have already booked a move with us, we will deliver supplies to your home so that you can start packing right away!
Our estimating system provides us with all of the pertinent information we need and will allow us to begin the process of generating a cost estimate for your specific moving needs. Once we have received a completed form, we will be in touch with next steps. You can also call our office to speak directly with a representative or email us with specific questions or just to introduce yourself.

I had a wonderful experience with this moving company. Everything went smoothly! The employees worked fast and efficiently. They wore masks and were friendly and professional. The price was extremely reasonable. I'm not sure if people usually tip movers, but I certainly did!!!

Ethan and his team, Parker and everyone at CHMC is outstanding! They have exceeded my expectations on multiple occasions, from estimates to move out to storage and move in. My move out day was stressful, to say the least. They came in with smiles on their faces and made one of my worst days simple and easy when it came to move out. We have moved many times and Chapel Hill Moving Company is by far the best company we've every worked with. From the first phone call to the last furniture adjustment, these guys are professional, organized, friendly and competent. They brought supplies ahead of times per my often changing requests. They arrived on time. They were extremely careful moving our goods. I could not recommend them more enthusiastically.
