After first earning her bachelor's of science degree in biology from the University of North Texas, Dr. Sarah Cantrell went on to earn her doctor of dental surgery from the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio in 2008. She's been helping young smiles shine brightly ever since!
A resident of Wylie, TX, she first spent four years working at Dentistry For Children in Mesquite, TX, sharing her dedicated work with children and teenagers alike before forming Cantrell Family Dentistry alongside her husband, Dr. Jon Cantrell.She's a member of several celebrated dental organizations, such as the American Dental Association, the North Texas Dental Society, Texas Dental Association, and the Academy of General Dentistry.

We recommend you come to our office at least two times each year. These regular checkups allow us to prevent many common oral health concerns, and we can diagnose and treat others in their earliest stages with the most conservative treatments. CEREC is a computer assisted design and manufacture system (CAD/CAM) that allows us to design, craft, and place dental restorations all in one visit to our Wylie, TX dental office.

Dr. Jon Cantrell was my dentist for years while I lived in Dallas, but I've been in Denver for the last four years. I was recently visiting friends in Dallas for a week and one of my front tooth crowns cracked in half on my first day! Dr. Jon had me come in within a matter or hours and patched me up...I couldn't be more grateful. Even years after I moved away he still took great care of me. Can't recommend him and his wife enough.

I was recommended this location by my neighbor. Being able to find a place that can take care of myself and my kids needs in one location is so great. Not only is it convenient but the entire staff has been so great to work with. I highly recommend this place and I don’t even like the thought of going to the dentist. However, no regrets coming here.

Me and my wife and son have been coming here for years, probably 10 years now. I've always been happy with how I've been treated.
Recently I had a bit of a concern, just prior to Thanksgiving. I called to see about getting in to check things out and got the auto-attendant. I don't remember all the options, just that for what I needed, I was able to send them an email to describe what was going on, and that I was hopeful I would be able to make it to Monday without things getting worse, asking if I could book a slot early in the week. Things didn't get worse, and they were able to book me in early

I can’t say enough good things about Dr. Jon & Courtney (hygienist). I hadn’t been to the dentist in such a long time and both of them were SO professional, reassuring, and kind! I have never been to a practice where I felt so comfortable and at ease. I hate going to the dentist and get extremely anxious with any dental work but both of them were amazing and upfront about everything. They answered all of my questions, had great bedside manner, didn’t rush me in and out in five minutes, and didn’t charge or push unnecessary work.
