Cactus used to be my go-to for a good wash or mini detail. I have to say their service has suffered the last few times I've been in. They still do a decent job, but they used to be more thorough and more pleasant about the whole process. Certain things were overlooked like the flat area above the bumper where the water didn't get to or underneath the spoiler. When mentioned, they just give anything a wipe with the cloth in hand. Anything more than that seems to be not worth their time, but it's still dirty. There were other things too like asking about fragrance and then forgetting

I was really excited to try this place. First, it took a really long time. Like many vehicles, mine has power fold mirrors but they manually forced them in rather than properly folding them in by using the button. Luckily they didn't break, but made a terrible noise as the internal gears grinded through and got back into their proper place. Then, they lost my keys and none of the guys out front seemed to be able to communicate with one another. Finally after about 15 minutes, someone walked up from the back that had them in his pocket and apologized saying he had to take care of some "business

They do a good job with carwashes. However I would leave the detailing and polishing to the high end shops if you're a discerning car enthusiast. Their prices are fair but this is a case where you may not get what you've paid for. My recent experience was a return trip from a previously disappointing experience hoping it was an isolated incident. Fooled me twice and shame on me. Let's just leave it that their detailing crew is no more experienced than the folks drying cars. If you need your car washed and dried Cactus is spot on. If you're expecting high end paint and surface restoration and protection

I love coming here! The people are friendly and efficient! The place itself is relaxing with plenty seating areas, leisure spaces and snacks. And, even the music is good! It takes away the typical painful wait for your car to be cleaned with a peaceful moment to rest. And then of course, they do a great job in returning my car smelling good and looking fresh like the first day I got it!

I realize it’s been a while since I had this vehicle detailed but they overlooked so many obvious things. For example the dashboard was still very dirty. See the pictures below where I passed over the dashboard when I got it home with a wet towel and got dirt right off of it.
Another example and again see the picture below, they didn’t pay attention to our console.
They appear to be fully staffed so I can’t imagine why these things and others happened. Next time I’m going to try another car wash place and see if they can do a better job.

I'm changing my rating from 5 star to one star. Terrible service, I paid for the ultimate wash ($35), they haven't even vacuum the car properly. I came home and noticed it and called to them. The receptionist (she said her name is kaisha) was just kind of ignored it and I asked to talked to the manager, she said he can not talk now. Not going there anymore.

This company needs a better way to contact customers either through a text or intercom system, because it's a large place and they just lightly call your name without care.Had tree sap on my car and they suggested the $40 treatment to completely clean with interior wipe down.
The service was spotty, I wasn't expecting perfection but I noticed they left some spaces with build up that were larger than a tennis ball on the side door panel, front bumper and trunk area.
Then they started trying to sell me a service for $140 to "guarantee" a complete clean, I told them

I have been going to the West Ashley location for a couple of years and I've now moved so tried out the Mt. P location.
Today I had to best experience. First I was greeted by Scotty who went above and beyond helping me determine which wash would be best for my car. Although he could have upgraded me for more $, he knew the weather would make it tough and was honest and genuine about which wash I should get.
Then, I met Michael. He, too was SO wonderful and welcoming as he prepped my car for the wash. He was working extremely hard and put extra effort into making my wash

Attendants were insanely rude; asked about packages as I just wanted an exterior wash and they were zero help. Slapped on the car multiple times & yelled when I couldn't navigate my car into the lane for the wash.. After the wash, they just opened the door & said "get out" without any explanation when I didn't want an interior wash. Will not be coming back. Very uncomfortable and disappointing after reading positive reviews

Thrilled with my experience at Cactus in Mt. P. The prices on their website were accurate with helpful descriptions of how you can combine services offered. No appointment was necessary, although there were a LOT of dropoffs at 9am on a Friday! They had my car scrubbed clean within a couple hours and walked me through their work to assure I left happy, as I saw them do with all of the other pickups. I had a car wash, seats washed and vacuumed, and the dash/doors/consoles cleaned, as well as vacuuming the rugs and back, for $85! It was a fantastic deal and I will be back here regularly.

My car was a mess inside filled with crumbs and sand all over the crevices and all the surfaces were dusty. It has become painfully obvious to me that the $20 basic service wouldn't quite do it this time. The attendant that checked me in went over the choices with me and I chose one of the deluxe options, hoping I'd get my money's worth. I asked how long it might take and he said about 45 minutes so I went inside to relax on the leather couch with a cold drink.
After about 40 minutes I went outside to make sure my car wasn't sitting idly by to find two workers still inside

Came at 8:30am and they were closed on a Wednesday. Their sign read winter hours 8:00-6:00. Hmmm. Came back and waited in line for over 1 hour. The gentleman walked around and chatted with customers who were seated in their cars waiting. Where oh where is the person who vacuums out the vehicles? This place used to be so good and so reasonable. Cmon cactus

This was a great car wash experience for me. I happened to go in on a "ladies day" which I believe is a Tuesday (don't quote me on that!) meaning I got a couple bucks off the service.
I pulled up to the back and the attendant was helpful seeing as it was my first time there and I wasn't sure what I had to do. I selected my service and he informed me that if I wanted the dog hair removed from the floor it would cost extra for the brush that they have to use. I told him that was fine. I did appreciate him pointing that out and being transparent about it. He gave me the slip
