Services
We started Insight Solar on the premise that the residential solar industry had taken a wrong turn. For most of the industry companies, your home is just another roof to get their panels on - and then sell you the electricity they're producing. Insight Solar is about giving you real, understandable options for your project.
In the short-term, running your house on solar will significantly reduce your electric bill. If your usage is low enough, you may even accumulate a credit balance with your utility. This is thanks to net-metering - spinning your meter backward. When the sun is out, your system will feed excess power back into the grid, and the utility will credit you 100% for that extra.
Only a solar installer can say for sure if your roof is ready for solar, but in general solar electricity works best on roofs that have plenty of space for panels and plenty of access to the sun throughout the day. Depending on the age and condition of your roof, we may work with an engineer to see if any repairs are needed before the solar system can be installed.
We strive to make the process of going solar easy by working with you in a consultative and collaborative manner. We allow you to make your own choices by providing solutions that enable you to control and secure your energy future for your family. To ensure that we can do this, we partner with banks and local credit unions as well as manufacturers and installers.

I worked with Adam Zucker from Insight Solar for our installation this past year. He was very helpful, knowledgable and attentive throughout the whole process. He made time for a few zoom calls so we could really iron out the details of the install and discuss the different pricing and size options. The team that did the install was very professional and we've been happily producing our own solar power since June. I highly recommend working with Adam Z and the whole Insight Solar team. I also really love the app and how I can track our daily/monthly/yearly output straight from my phone.

It was a great experience working with Insight Solar. The entire process was effortless and the customer service was great. My wife and I are very satisfied with the final outcome of the installation. The color of the panels match the shingles very well and they are not hurting the overall appearance of the house at all. Adam was extremely helpful and really appreciate for the whole project.

I had a great experience and learned quite a bit in the process. The family-owned business feel combined with professionalism and quality product and warranty make it a no brainier. Krystal set up my appointment, Aaron came twice to our home on an evening and weekend to explain the process, rebates, pricing, and answered all of our questions. The site visit was informative and allowed me to plan ahead to make it a smooth install. I would recommend going through Insight to any of my friends or family.

A few days ago, while my husband and I were sitting here, a car pulled into our driveway. Got our first electric bill since installing the solar panels. The panels were only on for three weeks during that bill's month, yet we managed to generate $60 more than what we used! I was concerned that our house wasn't well suited for solar panels because the roof is not slanted toward south and is surrounded by trees. So its great to see… that it works so well even in less-than-ideal situation.
