Services
Brad has over 20 years of experience in wetland science, arboriculture, natural resource management, land use permitting, and restoration. Brad is certified as a Professional Wetland Scientist and Massachusetts Certified Arborist. His field experience has focused on inland and coastal wetland resource area delineations as well as wetland and buffer restoration/replication services.
Wetlands are potential issues for many development projects. We will identify and delineate wetlands in the areas that will be impacted by your project in compliance with local Conservation Commissions (TCC), state Department of Environmental Protection (DEP) and U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (Corps) requirements.
Wetland restoration is the manipulation of a former or degraded wetland's physical, chemical, or biological characteristics to return its natural functions. Wetland replication is the creation of new wetland areas to replace areas of wetland impact. Wetland replication is designed to recreate a wetland's physical, chemical, and/or biological characteristics.
Whether it's adaptive reuse or new construction, we understand that site development is the foundation upon which any construction project is built. Therefore, it is critical that a team that can evaluate existing site conditions and applies innovative strategies to complete this initial phase. With many years of experience, our seasoned professionals have faced and overcome an extraordinary variety of site conditions.
The majority of the area we serve was created by glacial activity several thousands of years ago. These consolidated landforms can rise above sea level up to as much as 150 feet and are referred to as "Coastal Banks". The unconsolidated landforms created by wind action and storm overwash are referred to as "Coastal Dunes".
