Dr. Matthew Nissenbaum grew up on Long Island and has been practicing orthodontics here since 2000. He attended the University of Maryland where he earned a BS degree in Biology. He attended dental school at SUNY at Stony Brook School of Dental Medicine where he received many academic honors including Xi Psi Phi Fraternity's award for highest scholastic average for four years of dental school.

Just had a consultation with Dr. Matt and his staff to get ready for a 2nd round of braces (never wore my retainer), and everything was explained perfectly from the treatment plan to the finances. The staff behind the desk, as well as in the treatment area were great! Excited to start achieving the smile I always wanted! Highly recommend!

The employees are nice, I got all the x rays, all good. The doc said I’m ready for braces so I’m ready to make the appt. But I went to a second opinion and they found a stuck tooth and and extra, using the same x ray machines this place did. If I would’ve gone with this Lindenhurst place my teeth would have been even worse then what they are now in a couple years. Always make a second opinion!

Love everything about the practice! Myself and boys were treated here and were completely satisfied with everything from start to finish. Dr. Nissenbaum is a warm and welcoming individual who has a wealth of knowledge including how different health issues are impacted with teeth alignment. My son has sleep disorders and I have arthritis and teeth clench. His staff is just as warm and welcoming. I highly recommend this practice for all of your orthodontic needs.
