Dr. John Capogna has been Long Island's premier orthodontic specialist for more than 25 years. His passion for his patients, expertise in orthodontics, and emphasis on aesthetics allow him to treat children, adolescent, and adult patients. Dr. Capogna's goal is to provide the highest quality of orthodontic care in a relaxed and friendly atmosphere.
Dr. Mike was born and raised on Long Island. He attended Saint Anthony's High School. Upon graduation, he continued his studies at Boston College where he double majored in Biology and Human Development. After four years away from home, Dr. Mike returned to Long Island to receive his Doctorate of Dental Surgery from Stony Brook School of Dental Medicine.
Dr. Christine Capogna was born and raised in Binghamton, New York. She attended Villanova University, where she obtained her Bachelor of Science degree in Biology in only three years and graduated summa cum laude. She subsequently spent four years training at the University of Pennsylvania School of Dental Medicine, where she earned her Doctor in Dental Medicine (DMD) degree with Honors in Community Oral Health.

Dr. Capogna’s office has been a pleasure to work with over the past few years as my daughter has progressed through her treatment. Every staff member is pleasant and helpful and the orthodontists are all knowledgeable and precise in their work. We always felt welcomed whether we had a pre-existing appointment or had to stop in for an “emergency” visit with little notice. Now that her braces are off, we are thrilled with the result! I highly recommend this office!

This is the BEST orthodontist office I've ever been to. From the staff at the front desk to the doctors that are making your teeth camera ready - they really make sure you understand what is happening throughout your journey to straight teeth to years later when you need your retainers tightened. Dr. Capogna and the entire office staff was a pleasure to work with. Always kind & smiling. I was always amazed at how punctual the appointments ran. The best ortho. I love the capognas and the whole staff. I had braces twice with them and they are the sweetest and the best. Shout out to capognas and Jamie and the rest of the staf. I was always changing my appointments to get my braces off sooner and I would call and be like hey it’s Josie and they all knew who I was it was funny and cool.

We have been patients of Capogna Orthodontics for almost 15 years. We are a family of both adult and children, who have received orthodontic care. We have always been pleased with their outstanding level of treatment. All, of the doctors and assistants, are patient, kind and caring. Two of my children were anxious patients and the doctors and staff always calmed them and treated them with such kindness.
