Dr. Zollinger is board certified and fellowship trained in interventional pain medicine. He completed his residency and fellowship training at the world-renowned Mayo Clinic. He recognizes many suffer from chronic pain from a variety of causes, which is why he is dedicated to finding the source of your pain and developing a treatment plan that is specific to your needs.
Dr Deacon Schoeberger completed his Bachelor's and Master's degrees in psychology at California State University, Chico. He completed his PhD in clinical psychology at the University of Nevada, Reno. While in graduate school, his areas of specialty training were addictions and anxiety disorders.
His pre-doctoral internship was at the Portland Veterans Administration Medical Center where he received specialized training in psychological assessment, severe mental illness, behavioral medicine and health psychology, eating disorders treatment, chronic disease management, and pain psychology.Dr Schoenberger's post-doctoral training was under Dr. Sonny Ruckstuhl.

Was referred for severe headaches and neck pain that after a series of treatments by Dr. Muir, has changed my life! I went from major daily pain in my neck and head to only occasional minor neck soreness. This has allowed me to be more active with my family and get back to being effective at work. Dr. Burns and Erin are AMAZING!!!! Even Casey the gentleman that takes notes of our visit is sweet and kind. The office staff are great too always polite. I have never had any issues with billing or insurance. I have been a patient of Dr. Burns for about 10 years. He is the most wonderful, kindest understanding doctor I have ever met. Dr. Burns and Erin make a fabulous team! They are always there for me when I need them. I have a really bad back and Dr. Burns makes sure that I am as pain free as I can be. Dr. Muir has been my doc since 2015. I am a former nurse with a condition that is extremely difficult and frustrating to treat, so I am not always the easiest patient. But he has seen me through that, and some other terrible things that have happened to my back in the past couple of years. When my surgeon left me with a deep infection and then dropped the ball, it was Dr. Muir who got me another MRI and got the problem diagnosed so I could get treated. He really tries, and that is the most you can ask of any doctor. We also love Janice in the office, she has been wonderful all these years.

Yes, this place is GREEDY with a capital G, because they CAN BE. They are the best spinal care providers in the region& they KNOW it, which is seriously unfortunate. In order to get my disability forms filled out by my provider there, it cost me $400... for a form that I had already provided the answers there was no way in hell he would ever know& which took him all of 6minutes to complete! Initially when he had told me about the cost it must've shown on my face that I was appalled, because he said we would "work something out" so I booked the separate spot they required

I am in my 20's & have had undiagnosed fibromyalgia and IBS for years. I have seen many different doctors because they all thought I had endometriosis but none of them ever really listened to me or seemed to want to really help. I started seeing Dr. Baumgardner months ago & he is wonderful. He's always asking probing questions, he immediately had me get different lab work or tests done to rule out anything else & he is constantly trying to help me manage my pain. I have only had to wait an excessive amount of time once but other than that the staff is great & the appointments

An absolute travesty, waste of my time and insurance. Before my hip replacement. I was desperate my hip was bone on bone. Dr. Jeffery Zollinger I had heard great things about from friends. I as well as they were gravely mistaken. I was told for the first visit would be two hours. It was, two hours of judgement and stating there was NOTHING WRONG with my hip.(My mom was with me I take her to every doctors visit so she can see exactly what I am talking about.) I'm so happy to have been referred here! I'm now a patient of Dr. Zollinger and his assistant, Desiree. I've been to both offices, but prefer the south Reno location, as I live in Carson City... BUT...I'd drive anywhere to see these two. They're the BEST!

The physicians and assistants are some of the very best. It took the authorizations dept only 24 hours to get TPIs approved and I was contacted and scheduled the very next day. MIGRAINE SUFFERERS beware.. If you suffer migraines like me stay clear. I went in for a consult because I'm considering switching migraine doctors. Walked in and they are defusing essential oils in their office. With in 30mins of being in their office I had an all out migraine, left at the 45min mark nauseated and unseen by doctor. So sad that an office that treats patients for migraines is willing to allow essential oils when they are known triggers of migraines. Another patient also experienced a migraine from it while I was there.

It took a couple of years to even see the doc. They somehow kept losing my referral. I've been a patient for approx 2 years since then. I asked to have FMLA papers filled out 2 days ago and was told by the receptionist, " It's a $200 FEE." Seems excessive and a joke. This is the best they can do for a patient???

Loved the staff. So friendly and sweet. Dr. Burns is amazing. He really listened and you can tell that he cares. I was treated like a person, a patient and not a number on a chart. That has become a rare thing to find in a Doctor or a clinic. I am looking forward to seeing them all again and I would recommend them to anyone.

LOVE this office! Dr. Zollinger has helped me with my back pain with injections. I am unable to take any pain medication because of very uncomfortable side effects. Dr. Zollinger was able to help me with my desire to avoid medications.
