Passing through town. Previous mechanic at home failed to install the custom suspension correctly causing the shock piston to blow out my upper strut mount. He diagnosed it, allowed me to go get the part in CO Springs so he could squeeze me in the same day. While I was gone, he checked the other side and realized the same issue existed but hadn’t blown out the mount yet. He fixed it and worked hard to get it all done the same day. Only cost me one day on a nine day trip to Wyoming. Can’t recommend him enough!! Amazing customer service! Saved our bacon and out vacation!

The strut mount on our truck broke while we were on the Enchanted Rockies Trail in NM. We limped our way into Salida and found Brad's Automotive. Brad was willing to do everything in his power to fit us in and fix our issue so we could get back on the road to WY without losing too much time. He went above and beyond to help a fellow person out. He even checked the passenger side mount to make sure we would be save continuing our travels. Seriously, above and beyond. We will always be grateful to him got his customer service and kindness.

Brad was overbooked when I came in with a seemingly minor problem with an outside rear view mirror. He agreed to look at it, worked at it, put another man on it , broke the nut free, ORDERED ANOTHER bold delivered, and fixed this dangerous chronic problem that has been bothering me for weeks. He said I owed him nothing. I paid him $40 . Good deal.

My last mechanic messed up on transmission drain and fill. Nobody in town had Subaru ATF but Brad had a few quarts stashed away. Major life saver. He topped me off right away. Just can't recommend this place enough. Brad and team are one of the few good ones out there!

Brad and his team are amazing. They're so helpful and knowledgeable. Brad is very forthright and tells you what the key mechanical issues are. There have been at least 5 different times in the last couple of years when we've had unexpected car issues and he's been invaluable and flexible, often at short notice. Probably the only car mechanic my husband and I have dealt with who returns calls, fixes your car in a decent amount of time, charges a reasonable price and is a genuinely helpful and kind individual. Brad's Auto is the place to go if you're having issues with your car.

Best Auto Mechanic experience I have ever had. My truck broke down on the way out of town after a short visit. I was able to get it to Brad's Garage, barely! Brad was booked out two and a half weeks. He spent a bit of time on the phone trying to find a local garage that could fit it in but everyone was booked out at least a few days.
Brad said he would just find the time and fit it in. He drove my family to a hotel! Stayed late to fix it! the part ended up being faulty so he sent one of his guy's all the way to Buena Vista to get another one (they had none in Salida). Then worked on it that day

After my trusted mechanic moved to another state, I was so worried that I would be unable to find another one that was reasonable and trustworthy. I soon had car troubles and was looking at all of the positive reviews on the web for Brad's. I took my vehicle out to him and the reviews were right!
