We were in the Salida area on a short vacation and had a non-repairable flat. I called around in the morning, and Chaffee Tire and Wheel had a used tire in great shape for a great price! The cost is less than what I would have paid in Denver, and Chaffee Tire and Wheel got us on our way home. I recommend them for a fair deal and good service.

110% recommended this place to anyone. I drove from Vail to meet someone with my tires. These men fit us in. Told us they could do two and they did all 4. Took us an extra minute to find an atm but they waited for us. Thank you all so much. If I ever need help with my jeep and I’m in salida. This is where I’ll go!

6 moms in their mid 40's took a road trip to Colorado for a few days in July 2014. On our way out of Salida, we stopped to fill up with gas and noticed a terrible hissing sound in the right front passenger tire. A quick internet search and we found Chaffee Tire. Thankfully, we had enough air to make it from HWY 50 to the back of town near 291.
Justin Clinton was amazing. They took out Suburban in right away to diagnose our tire problem. After evaluation, we needed to replace the tire (a previous patch had exploded). Justin recommended a great breakfast place called Sweetie's Bakery and
