My name is Kelly Miranda MacNiven and I am incredibly passionate about photographing families and weddings. I grew up in Durango, Colorado and earned my photography degree while living in Austin, TX. My husband, Casey, and I are both entrepreneurs and parents to a wild and smart little boy. Casey owns Squeegee Monkey Window Washing.
Yes, it is $1250 for all images in your gallery. However, I strongly believe that photographs are meant to be enjoyed as art on the walls in your home. Digtal files are available for purchase individually as well, but for most families, it is more cost effective to purchase prints rather than digital files, unless you need to create large quantities of the same print.
The newborn phase: the most exhausting, precious, snuggly, and fleeting time in your journey as a parent. Also, the most difficult age to do photos yourself at home! Posing a newborn is something that takes expertise, safety precautions, patience, and time. Kelly has been safely working with newborns for over 10 years and has a plethora of props, backdrops, wraps, hats, and baskets for you to choose from.
When I was pregnant with my son, Carter, a photographer friend of mine gifted me a maternity session before we moved to Durango. To this day, our family cherishes those portraits immensely. When my son was 3, he loved to argue that he was in Daddy's belly and not mine (my little litigator), so I pulled out our maternity album and showed him the portraits of when he was, in fact, in MY belly and not Daddy's.
Maybe you're waiting until you "lose the baby weight", until things settle down a bit and you have more time (spoiler alert: you won't), or until your kids are older and can sit still for longer. Well, let me tell you that your kids don't care what your weight is. They just want to see a mom and dad that are happy with themselves and that show them what it means to love your self and your family unconditionally.

Kelly did my engagement photos recently and I could not be happier. Kelly was our photographer for our wedding in early June 2019. She was absolutely wonderful to work with leading up to and on the day of the event! She was professional, her prices were reasonable, and she even helped provide recommendations of other vendors for our event. She's also been very speedy with getting us our images following the event and (no surprise) the images she created are AMAZING! We have worked with a handful of professional photographers over the years, and Kelly was by far the most professional and the best! She truly paid attention to detail, taking time after shooting her photos to make sure they looked perfect before moving on to the next series of photos. She was always responsive to my emails, flexible with timing, and our prints arrived almost immediately after ordering. They turned out beautifully and with great quality. If you're looking for a photographer in the area (our shoot was in Telluride), don't use anyone else! Thanks Kelly for an amazing job!

Everything about our experience with Kelly was wonderful! She is so easy going and fun to work with! She made meetings and communicating very easy. She worked with all of our special requests and concerns. She is great! On the day of our wedding, she arrived on time, stayed late, and was out of the way the whole night! I swear I barely even saw her and her assistant, and they still got tons of great photos! The photos all came out so beautiful and we love the deals that came with the package we chose. I was very impressed with Kelly during our recent newborn/family shoot. She captured some beautiful natural moments, as well as sweet posed newborn images. She worked really well with my toddler as well, I love that you can tell she's a mom, too! Kelly offered a wide assortment of backgrounds and props, and made sure she knew exactly what I wanted. From start to finish she has been amazing, even helping me create a beautiful photo book and several gifts.
