Mario provides excellent locksmith services! I happened upon his company while searching for a locksmith among highly rated companies in the area, and he did not disappoint. He was professional, flexible, courteous with me and everyone else I had working at my home at the time, careful and knowledgeable.
I also appreciated his patience as he took time to explain how each lock mechanism worked and had me try opening each one with each key. All of my locks work well, and I am happy with his service. It gives me peace of mind knowing this work was taken care of in good hands. Would definitely recommend

9-26-21 Found Mario on yelp because his address was Bala Cynwyd. I checked his references and they all good. I called and he came over within 30 minutes to my American Legion Post 355. I was all set to have the old lock replaced with an old fashion lock because I could not get my new Amazon combination lock working. He said let me give it a try. After an hour of adjusting and modifying, he got my combination lock to work. The problem was that my door is 2 1/4 inches thick, not 2 inches thick. Mario also recommended an external lock box to securely house a spare key for some of the old timer officers

Mario and his staff were courteous, prompt, kind hearted, knowledgeable,and professional. He went above and beyond for us. There were two screen door issues that he noticed and repaired instantly without a second thought. He didn't not have to do that, but he did, which speaks to the type of person he is. They have great reviews for a reason. I would highly recommend.Also they traveled to Delaware County

Great service in a timely fashion. I just purchased my first home and was struggling to find a service that would help me quickly switch out the locks. I also had several issues with the doors, from a deadbolt being misaligned and a back door being improperly installed. To my surprise they were able to not only switch out the locks but completely fix the other issues I had been looking to get resolved for a fraction of the price of other contractors. All of this done in about an hour with complete transparency and guidance on potentional follow up and recommended corrective actions.

A true five star review. MDM came out to my commercials property for a broken rear fire entry door vagrants ripped apart. Mario was able to install door, push bar, lock, and closer all perfectly. I can tel he knew what he was doing as the tools and techniques a pro uses is not what a handy man can do. This was an expensive door and equipment. Glad I didn’t try and do it on my own as I would have definitely messed up.

When other reviewers said he showed up with an hour they were not lying. I called him and he was able to come within the hour. I needed my key fob reprogrammed for my 2015 Ford Edge. The dealers wanted to charge me $300 or more. I looked online to find someone and saw MdM and the great reviews he had, so I took a chance on him. Beyond happy that I did. He was quick, courteous and trustworthy. He even recommended me that I try and get reimbursed with my car insurance company as roadside assistance. I wasn't holding my breath, but wow they did reimburse me for the majority of the cost. Can't thank

Do not use this business. Very dishonest and used old material when changing locks . Took advantage of tenant that was living there and when I called him on it he was rude and belligerent.

I stumbled across Mario at MdM Locksmith by wonderful happenstance. I had just bought a new house in the city over three years ago and as you may not expect as a new homeowner, the previous owners gave me one pair of keys (at closing) which opened only one set of many many locks for just the front door top deadbolt. The rest of the locks - no keys. Welcome to homeownership!

MdM is fantastic. I highly recommend Mario for lock installations. Given the complexity of our project, I can only assume he would also knock the ball out the park on simpler projects.
This weekend, Mario installed a Samsung SHS-P718-LMK smart lock on a steel door. The steel door made it hard. The unusual lock made it harder. After 3 hours, Mario made it all work. He was patient, knowledgeable and friendly.
If I ever have a security question, I'm going to call MdM.

Every success story always has a disastrous beginning. I woke up today, my day planned out. Work 8:30-5, then head down to the beach for the weekend. Imagine my frustration when my car wouldn't start, due to what I thought was a locked steering wheel. No worries, I thought, a little wheel turning, key juggling and I'd be at most, a little late for work.

Mario responded to my call within the day and was able to come by the same day. I just moved into the house and he educated me on the best option (re-keying my locks vs. replacing them). I was initially going to replace them, but he convinced me that re-keying them was the better option.
Really educated and was fair in his pricing. He also helped me redo my garage key doors too! His quotes are on his website. In addition to the listed service + service call fee, he'll add labor to the price too, which wasn't explicitly listed.

Mario was great! It was super easy to book his services - he responded quickly and provided quotes that were easy to understand (fair prices too!). He arrived promptly on time to our appointment and was very friendly and good-natured. When then job turned out to be harder and take longer than anticipated, Mario was so professional and easy-going.
