We are proud to offer our farm to shower product line, Davines, our zen wash room, and our state of the art silent halo color processors. We are staffed with two levels of visual artists to assist your styling needs that range from stylist to master designer.

Sam started her career back in 2008 and her love for hair and education keeps her staying up on the newest techniques and trends by attending numerous hair shows and classes. Sam is a master of natural looking hair extensions and unique cut and coloring.
Her personality allows her to get to know each client on a personal level giving her the ability to listen to her clients requests and create a look that is easily attainable in their everyday lives.Kellie has a strong passion for customizing everyone's look by their own personal desires. She has a strong focus on her clients to provide them with a great experience.

Our owner, Samantha Johnston, graduated high school in 2006 and within a year she knew the direction of her career path, cosmetology. She believed her creative spirit would be happiest in a salon setting and thats where her idea of becoming an exceptional hair stylist came from. After completing her schooling at Paul Mitchell California Academy and interning at a local salon she moved to the next level of being an independent contractor.

I had a wonderful experience with my stylist, Lindsey. It felt more like a spa experience than a haircut! I love the shampoo room and the zen vibe. I went to Lindsey after some disappointing hair cuts from other places. She gave me exactly what I asked for. I will be using her again and look forward to going back to Salon 1938!

I just found the perfect hair salon! It has a cool rustic style and a relaxed atmosphere. The shampoo room was like a spa, hidden behind sliding barn doors so you can zone out to relaxing music while you're getting a scalp massage. The front desk girl was genuinely kind and so helpful. I have never felt so welcome at a salon! Then I got the best color and cut from Katie. She's so patient and explains everything she will be doing, plus she's a very fun person to talk with!

This salon is awesome! The owner is extremely professional and does fabulous hair! All of the staff is talented, professional and kind! I travel 2 hours to come here because Salon 1938 really knows how to make you feel like a movie star and their Zen room is the best not to mention the cool modern hair drying station with couches!!
