Although Russell Building & Remodeling came into existence in 1988 I can trace our roots to the 1970s as a student of Eli Whitney Vocational Tech. With carpentry and blue print reading certification I worked with some top notch companies involved with new custom home building, commercial building and renovation, and remodeling. I learned from master mechanics in the field not only the skillset, but how to be successful with business in general.

I have seen first hand the result when price is the only factor in selecting a contractor. Many times a price is lower because the "contractors" overhead doesn't include a license or insurance or even the right tools to get the job done properly. Sometimes its just inexperience or learning from the wrong source.
All of the pictures found here represent projects completed within last 25 years. These bathrooms were gutted down to the framing and new plumbing, electrical, heating, ventilation, and structural support systems were incorporated as needed. There's nothing better than taking on an old outdated or poorly laid out bathroom and turning it into something.
Drywall installation and finish taping is critical in the flawless outcome (or not) of any project. After all it is what you see in the finished product and if corners aren't crisp or panels aren't blended and feathered out well it can ruin the job. We take time to get it right. We use the longest sheets possible to lessen the amount of seams to be taped.
In most cases there is no charge for an onsite evaluation and email quote within our service area. Occasionally there is a small charge for quotes outside of our service area or when a written detailed scope of work is needed prior to acceptance of our quote. Any estimation fee is subtracted from your total if you decide to work with me.
