Solar energy is cheaper than what high-price utility companies are charging. Because of this, thousands are switching over to the new and improved way to generate power. In an effort to make solar more affordable, the government offers tax credits that will pay up to 30% of your system. Combined with State tax credits on solar, you will have a probable chance of getting up to half of your system paid for.
A Brio consultant will go over your custom solar proposal; they will show you your panel placement, savings, and answering any of your questions. Our installers and engineers with create your CAD (computer-aided-drawing) of your home, we will show you your options for panel placement that will provide optimal savings.
If we had one word to describe the work culture at Brio Solar it would be energy. And fun. Ok, we may need two words. At Brio, we work very hard to create a culture that empowers you to be successful while also enjoying every minute. We created an innovative salary schedule to accommodate both veteran salespeople and newbies.

I've been trying to get solar set up since early April and guess what? Still nothing. It has been months since anyone followed up with me and I have been tossed between 3 different reps and now none of them will respond to my emails . The company came out, did all inspections, left a massive hole in my closet that took forever to get fixed and that in itself was a whole other mess. I was told I would have solar by the end of July on the LATE end and now it's mid September and no one will get back to me on what is going on. This company sure seems like a scam so beware. Really glad my

Do not go with this company! We had so many issues and I wish we had done better research. We are paying more than we were told we would be paying, they ruined our ceiling during the install and had to come back to fix it from the inside, they messed up paperwork with Duke which caused a 3-month delay, and they owe us a reimbursement for quoting us wrong and we still haven't got the reimbursement after 3 months!

I would NOT recommend going with this company. I was told a 1-day install. They began the install on 2/9, which started the clock for payment on the loan. But the install wasn't completed. Over the next few months I made over a dozen phone calls to the company and was scheduled 3 different dates for the install completion. But each date no one showed and the installed wasn't complete. I would have to call the company, they would apologize & set up a new install date each time.
I had to begin payments on the loan on 4/12 for a system that wasn't installed. I was told they would

At first I really liked the company, but since having their system for a couple years I found their follow through really lax. About five months ago my inverter went out on my solar system, I contacted them and they promptly had a new inverter sent to my house to swap out under the warranty. The inverter is at my house for the last three months. I've called and left numerous messages and support tickets, no one is responding to my messages. Makes me wonder if the company is even in business anymore. If they are and are just refusing to return my calls or emails this is horrible customer

We have had the most awful experience from Brio. I would give them a -10 star review if I could. We had solar panels installed OCTOBER 2020.....and we have yet to have someone actually fix the connection properly so that our energy company will sign off on the installation and connect. Our energy company has come by TWICE and told us they will not connect because Brio didn't install the solar panels properly. The guy that installed the panels promised us a google nest thermostat and then had to YOUTube how to install it. After FIVE hours of trying to install the google nest, the system did

Stuck with 20yr loan that costs double the price of utility power
We had a good start with Brio. Their friendly sales rep showed us how we would save because Brio's solar panels will cost the same as our current energy usage, loan terms were low, they'll do all our permit requests, even for our HOA, and help with securing tax rebates to offset some of the expense. After about 6 months of waiting for the various permit processing our solar panels finally arrived and were installed, and we were all happy.
Or so we thought. Once Brio got our money and the loans started, things went pear

DO NOT GO WITH BRIO. THEY WILL LIE AND RIP YOU OFF!
This company is dishonest and targets the elderly and people who are struggling financially and feeds them false promises of not having power bills and will tell you whatever you want to hear to trap you into signing, including incentives for signing that day. Extremely shady sales tactics.
My husband and I were scammed by Brio. Just about everything they said to convince me to sign that contract was a lie. They came into our home and lied to us repeatedly and completely ripped us off. WE HAVE REACHED OUT TO AN ATTORNEY. For those that were

I was supposed to have an initial consult today, September 6th, at 10:00am. No one ever showed up to my house. I called the only number listed and the extension to talk with someone regarding consults went straight to voicemail. I left a voicemail and no one ever got back to me. I then called to talk with a customer service rep and selected the option for a call back. I was number three on the list and noone ever called back. As far as I am concerned this company is a waste of time. It just goes to show that if a company is knocking on your door to try to get business it is best to stay away entirely

Salesman was nice but there isn't any support for customer service! Financing is as long as the panels last. Then, you have to replace them all over again. This does NOT save money. I tried to cancel my appointment and they didn't have any local phone number or customer support to do so! Very heavy sales tactics which including scaring customers into thinking they'll pay crazy prices in utilities if they don't buy solar panels. High pressure on customers to buy

Updating: Since I posted my original review, it took 3 months for them to reach out to us. It wasnt because I was calling and emailing, but because someone had sent my husband a text asking him to take a survey. He told the guy I'm not doing another thing for you until I get what I was promised. Within a week, we had our smart thermostat that we were promised at signing.
I hope their business practice grows and they learn a few things from all of this.

I work for Brio, and I know it's weird to write a review about the company you work for, but I freaking love working for this company. Every employee works hard and are honest, forward and care about helping their customers. All I've heard from the customers I've dealt with since I've worked here are positive things. Haha I feel like no solar customer goes online to give a great review, but people love to complain. So for us to have 5-7 complaints in 5 years of solar service, that's pretty damn good. Just sayin
