To be perfectly honest I'd put it between 4.5 and 5. I took my Nascar collection in on the 1st of December and in a couple weeks I received a call that my collection was going to be up online. At first it was slow going but towards the end of the auction it did (to me) really well. Now I had one collectable as a reserve and they forgot about it so they asked me what the reserve price was and they ended up taking a lost on it. I trust them completely. I'm actually discussing with them about my other collection which I sent them emails of what I have. I'll use there business in the future.

Metzger Auction has always been fair and straightforward with me. They have a fantastic business model. I would do business and work with them any time I got the chance. They always give the customer the benefit of the doubt, I've seen them issue a refund with no questions asked over something being advertised incorrectly. This is top rate service!!!!

Had an appointment to see a house with them. I got a call the day before to confirm I could still keep the appointment I said yes. Got to the house 15 minutes early no one was there waited 20 minutes still nobody showed up to show the house. I didn't even get a call to let me know they couldn't make the appointment. I tried to call the office but there was no answer. I left at 205, I went checked my mail at the post office 2 blocks away. I drove by the property at 215 and still no one had shown up.

Auction ends and shows you won the item then an hour later its shows someone else won't the item with a bis after auction end ... how does that happen ( have proof it showed auction was won ) ... of course this was an online auction and I get it must have been a computer glitch... I can understand that if it was 1 item but it was 7 separate items ... leave them a voicemail to please call 3 hour after they open not a word... will never use their sevice again its crooked and unprofessional

Worst business experience ever. Too many people not communicating with eachother. I won an item. Was sent a link to sign up to pick it up, 4pm to 6pm. I work second shift so I emailed them about picking it up earlier in the day. The told me to have someone else pick it up. Said that was not an option. I said it would have to be 4pm on Saturday. Was told they do not do weekend pick ups, it had to be Tuesday,Wednesday or Thursday. I said then don't charge my card because listing did not say not to bid if you work second shift. Whomever changed their tune and finally said they could do noon by appointment

I never expect to have another auction in Wabash County, or anywhere, and after this experience, I would say that is a very good thing. From not writing down the first appointment I made, to misspelling my mother’s name, to listing things that were clearly marked not going in the sale, to calling my family’s possessions “crap” in front of me, to not taking care of items they said they would, their communication was horrible.
I get it. They sell people’s possessions every week. They have a system. They probably do it well. But the utter lack of communication with me, a person grieving

I have followed auctions in person and on line for quite sometime. I won bids on 3 items to make an 90min drive worth it. I drove the hour and a half, paid cash as usual, searched for my last large item to load to find it was supposedly pulled?. I haven't ever experienced an auction that when the hammer drops, item is paid for, and you drive 90 min nearly 20hrs after the hammer, that items can be pulled without notification to the buyer. Though it is clear that sales are final and buyers are responsible for their won bids.
