Services
Through the lens of innovative modern dance, we awaken, enrich, and educate communities to diverse perspectives of our world. SPDC reaches beyond the arts community with a diverse repertoire that reflects upon larger societal issues through performances, classes, workshops, community outreach, arts integration residencies and collaborations with musicians and composers, artists and actors, puppeteers, poets and professors.
The Apprentice Training Program is a two-year work-study program designed for high school graduates between the ages of 17-23 who chose not to attend a traditional four- year college dance program.

Community events are low and free cost events open to the public to broaden the understanding of dance in our lives. From our Dance in the Parks series to Open Rehearsals to webinars on Contextual Dance you will find something to see, do, listen and learn about with the subject of dance at its core.
Our nationally acclaimed, award winning Arts Integration and Arts Experience infuse dance, movement, and creative expression into math, science and literature curriculum - making classrooms come alive for students and teachers alike. Experiences can include 2-5 day residencies, on-site performances, off-site performances, study guides, virtual learning, webinars and so much more.
