Irish dancing is an ancient art form, which strengthens the mind and body and contributes to maintaining a healthy lifestyle. Through Irish dance, our students develop self-esteem, coordination, confidence, and lasting friendships. We offer classes for boys and girls of all ages and abilities. The Mulcahy Academy of Irish Dance is a member of CLRG - The Premier Irish Dancing Organization In The World!
We specialize in promoting Irish culture through traditional and modern Irish dancing techniques and movements. Irish dancing is an ancient art form, which strengthens the mind and body and contributes to maintaining a healthy lifestyle. Through Irish dance, our students develop self-esteem, coordination, confidence, and lasting friendships.
If public schools are closed in any of the studio locations then all classes are canceled on that day in that location. We will email and post this information on our Facebook page, you will not receive a phone call or text. Dancers are welcome to make-up a class at any other location, the complete schedule is posted below.
Our Pre-Beginner class is a perfect start for any toddler ages 3-4, and in some cases some children have even begun as early as 2 years old. A pre-beginner class is the perfect way to introduce your little one to Irish dancing. This class focuses on the early fundamentals of Irish dance. Starting at a young age the dancer is able to acquire Irish dancing skills and an ear for the music.
The Mulcahy Academy performs year-round for Weddings, Birthdays, Retirement Parties, St. Patrick's Day Parties, Cultural Events and Much More! Our Irish Dancers have performed with bands and artists such as Eileen Ivers of Riverdance, Fame, The Saw Doctors, The Wolfetones, The Celts, The Rising, and more.

Mulcahy Academy of Irish dance is AMAZING!!!! I had been looking for years for a studio that taught adult dancers, when I came across Mulcahy Academy they were extremely welcoming and so excited to have me!!! They were super deduper accommodating with my schedule and truly teach me and push me to be the best dancer I can be. I can't express how… much I love Erin Mulcahy and everyone at this academy. Best dance school hands down. I am so lucky to be part of not only the best dance school but the best dance *family* in the world. Mulcahy is not just Dance teachers, Dance parents and students. When you enroll at Mulcahy you become part of the family. I have so many dance sister’s and a dance niece and nephew.
