Built with old-world workmanship, our cabins are truly "hand-crafted down to the smallest detail."
Native stone complements the locally logged poplar, chestnut and red oak we use to build our cabins. Each cabin is designed for comfort and relaxation. Comfy beds with soft linens, romantic fireplaces, and hot tubs under the stars are just a few of the features that welcome you. Our cabins are where memories are made.

FIREFLY looks like a little mountain farmhouse - rustic outside and charmingly decorated with handcrafted mountain furniture inside. In the living area, a casual leather sofa faces the large stone fireplace as well as the TV, which has premium channels. The second floor has a half-bath and 2 bedrooms - one with two twin beds, and one with a queen-sized bed.
Bryson City is a small mountain town with friendly folks, gift shops, arts and crafts galleries, antique stores, and a surprising variety of restaurants. Our historic train depot is the home of the Great Smoky Mountains Railroad with plenty of excursions, including a combination train ride / river raft trip that's loads of fun.

Upon our arrival, we were greeted by the proprietor who promptly began to refer to local landmarks using racial epithets. When my friend indicated that we didn't appreciate such language, he responded with, "well y'all are from Louisiana, right?" He then proceeded to launch into a racist rant. As we repeatedly tried to excuse ourselves from this uncomfortable situation, he asked that we come and drink whiskey with him one night before we left. Real class act!

Awesome place for a family...3 large beds, full kitchen equipped with everything you need including a blender, mixer, pots and pans, baking sheets, plenty of towels for 3 days, and a short walk to the river. Ran out of time to use the hot tub, but it's in a secluded location up stairs in the back. The owner did a break job furnishing the cabin. Location easy to access the Blue Ridge Parkway, Cherokee, Santass Land, casino, etc. Would come back again! Way better than a hotel!

The cabin is fine, my rating is a reflection of the misinformation provided to us when making our reservation. For 15 years we have visited the Smokies with our truck, enclosed motorcycle trailer and our motorcycle. The roads coming and going from the cabin are very important to us as well as space to park and maneuver our truck and trailer. Before renting Erika’s Dream I asked the proprietor the same 5 questions I ask all cabin rental places. The information provided to me was false. It was so bad we left the cabin and stayed at a hotel in Cherokee for the remainder of our vacation. Because

First off- I don't know how I was able to reserve this place (Erika's Dream) only a few days before Memorial Day weekend. The pricing was totally reasonable, easily competitive with ANY cabin within an hour of Bryson City. The host was very personable and accommodating, making sure we had everything we needed and there were no issues. No issues arose, so no assistance was ever needed. The cabin was awesome. Great hot water, fully furnished- all we needed to get was beer and food. Beds were so comfy, we really had a great time. The road/driveway going up to the cabins is pretty sketchy, so might
