I used this company to get my HVAC repair via AHS. Their technician has no clue about my 20SEER state of the art, latest Rheem Heat pump. Rather than owning their ignorance, they decided to work on it and screwed it even more. After the next recall, they reported to the AHS that someone else has yanked a wire and for the reason, AHS refused to cover the repair. There was no one other than this company who worked on my furnace and went to the attic. Both the time when this company arrived, me or my wife was present physically and they never mention anything to us or showed us anything but reported

Don't trust NORTHWIND HEATING AND AIR, INC. With your A/C unit. They came out to our house to fix our A\C but only screwed it up more. Then they sent a tech out that disassemble the whole unit and fried it. They sent out the supervisor to repair it. He admitted that the other guy screwed it up. It worked for a little over a week. It's down again. I called them back and now they are refusing to come back out. Now I am fighting with our home warranty company trying to get it resolved.

Stay far away from this company. Run, don't walk! Complete run around for weeks. 80 year old endured weeks of 100+ heat while they gave nonsensensical excuses. Weeks into waiting and calls not answered now being told they need to come out again to see what's needed. It's a joke and risking health of an elderly person. Now contacting another company. This company was sent to us by American home shield service . They came out and went under the house and said the duct work needed to be replaced because rats had eaten holes in the duct work and it was collapsed because of age.so I would call and leave a message for them to please call me and I never got a callback. So on June 14 I got a hold of American home shield and they said that they had given them approval to do the work on that date. So I tried calling them again to find ouT when they were going to come out and do my tech work. They didn’t answer left a message again they never called

I called Northwind to have my units serviced and ready for summer and they were able to schedule me in right away. I also used them to replace the unit at my rental home. I have had them come for service twice and I have been very pleased each time and the work has been great. The tech I had, Caesar, was kind, excellent and very informative each time. The first time I had no heat and I ran it through my home warranty. Got several companies telling me there was nothing they could do. As a last call out, he was sent out and fixed the problem in about 15 minutes. Yelp needs to allow 0 stars. They do not know what they're doing. Service tech asked us 3 times what was wrong with our unit. He didn't even test anything just looked. Heck they didn't even have us turn the unit on. American home shield will use anyone that will band aid and report claims that its functioning fine.

This company is AMAZING!! They were professional, on time, and extremely qualified. Northwind provided me with quality work and I will not use anyone else when it comes to my AC/Heating needs. They have great pricing and really care about their customers. I have had them work on my AC unit and the Heating unit and have been extremely happy with their work and commitment to help. Do not use this company.
They came out to my home on a service call for my home warranty american home shield and said they washed the condenser coil and that it was completely plugged. They also changed the condenser fan motor and cap which mysteriously stopped working while they were servicing it and they added stop leak and noted found no other issues and system working properly at this time. AND CHARGED ME 280.00 for unnecessary work!
First why would you add stop leak if there is no leak?
Secondly upon requesting another diagnosis from another company it was found the whole ac unit coil
