Motorsports of Olympia first opened its doors in June of 2002. With no official dealership experience, we took on the task of renovating an old building which had been in the family for years. Lee's Restaurant was purchased in the 1960's by the grandmother of John Gylys (owner) and ran successfully until 1986 when it closed for renovation.
The remodel did not come until 2001 when an eager dad and two enthusiastic sons decided to open up a Yamaha dealership. With a still unfinished building, we luckily found an open space across the street which housed the dealership for six months. It has been awhile since we rolled bikes across the street from one shop to another, but we continue to see growth and expansion as time goes on.

This shop had a 100% chance of selling me a new KTM today, but treated me like I had no business being there. I contacted them and asked about the new KTM 1290. The Sales Manager contacted me and told me they had what I was looking for, but it was not built. I asked her to let me know when it will be available, and I will stop by. She sent me a text this morning saying it was on the showroom floor. I was there within a couple of hours to see it. First, she refused to turn the key so I could see the dashboard. Strike one. Then I asked when I could ride it? She said, you can't...." I said, well I

This shop is the best! Every time I go there I'm greeted in a friendly manner and I receive excellent customer service. I have been coming to this shop for years and have never been disappointed. I have owned an R6 and a WR250 and have always trusted my bikes with their amazing service department. I also purchase all my parts and maintenance items there. All at reasonable prices for quality products. If you are looking for a great bike, this is the place!

Bought a brand new ktm 250exc had very low miles and then started having motor issues. Turns out it was a bad gear that that year of bike had, Was told I needed to call KTM for warranty because it was out of regular time due to date's.
This is the reason for the 1star. First I was told they were 2 months out for service which is out of the dealership control but when I had my opening to bring it in they didn't even look at it for over a month because I was told Yamaha had a recall of bikes that they needed to fix before they were going to look at the bike that I had already paid for. So they put

I would give more stars if I could. This has to be the best dealership in North America, PERIOD. The parts department and service center have always been staffed with the friendliest, most helpful people in the industry. In fact, over the years I've made real friendships here, both with the staff and other customers that I've met while visiting.
Prices are VERY fair on both OEM/non-OEM parts and I always feel welcome, even if I need help or advice when I'm turning my own wrenches. Shipping on OEM/non-OEM parts is always fast as heck, and more affordable than buying online at other big retailers

Amazing! This shop is customer oriented and willing to go the extra mile to figure out the problem. Have only charged me for the "actual" work performed and have always made the call if it was outside of what we "thought" was the problem. Alex, David and Paul are always the Go-To guys and they definitely Git-R-Dun! Love this shop.
