Maximilian Macdonald, who has been a western Washington resident his entire life, has had an affinity for automobiles & racing for as long as he can remember. Maximilian Motorsports has been a part of the Lewis County community for over 2 decades. The current automotive repair shop, located in Chehalis, was built by Maximilian himself, with the help of a few very close friends.
The shop is outfitted with top of the line equipment and boasts a first-class showroom/lobby, but this wasn't always the case. Maximilian's original repair shop was but a single car garage. He pulled his very first motor from a Volkswagen Beetle at age 12. Compare that to the 5,000 square foot, 7 bay facility he currently operates from, you can see Maximilian, and his business, have grown tremendously.

I toon my bmw X5 here and got A LOT of work done.. $9000 worth of work done on my car...Maximilian's had my car for a total of a month and a half, which is ok.. I asked for a lot of work to be done to my vehicle. But after spending the huge chunk of money I did I figured I'd have a great running car! Well that's not what I got. because Maximilian's mechanics don't know how to tighten parts down or put them on right so now since Maximilian's won't answer any of my calls or messages or call me back!! I've had to spend a other chunk of money to fix a mistake they made and won't make right...I got

I've used Max's shop on several occasions. The mechanics are highly skilled, and capable of repairs on everything from economy cars to exotics. They have a customer base that extends from Seattle to Portland, because they are that good. They have effected repairs on several of our cars, including a complex (and expensive) engine swap on an Audi Avant. I generally do all our routine maintenance, but will send my cars to Max for anything complicated.

While traveling from out of state our Saab started having mechanical issues. With being one of only two mechanics in the area that work on Saab’s, we were blown away by the service we received. Max not only took in our vehicle at 12pm on a Friday (within an hour of us calling), he ordered the parts and had them delivered the next afternoon with the car finished by 3pm Saturday. He worked on a Saturday outside of business hours so we wouldn’t be stranded in Washington and have to spend additional money on a hotel room. We are sad we do not live in Washington to have him as our standard mechanic

Max is so good with getting my Cooper out in a very timely manner, and is very good about making sure that I totally understand exactly what has been done to my car, with step by step evaluation of what he has done. I Love Maximillian Motorsports, they are the very best in the area for European Cars, I highly recommend them to anyone who would need their car worked on between Seattle and Portland. My wife and I were visiting from Oregon 6 hours away and had car troubles as soon as we got here. I own a Saab so it’s difficult to find a mechanic that is willing to work on it. Out of the only two mechanics in the area that work on Saab’s, Maximilian is the only one that was willing to help on such short notice. We brought the car in and he overnighted parts and stayed open on his day off at no extra charge to make sure we could get home before the weekend was over. I can’t recommend it enough. I wish we lived closer so we could come by for all routine maintenance. Great communication,

I have an older BMW that Maximilian maintains for me. They questioned how long I intended to keep the car so we could formulate a plan that made sense economically. They had photographs of every repair and what still needs attention. I am very happy with the service I received and highly recommend this repair facility. True professionals that deliver good value.

We love the guys at Maximilian Motorsports. Great friendly service and I love how they show you pictures of them working on your car and what parts are used and what parts need to be replaced. Very knowledgeable..they send text messages with quotes and details and are easy to communicate with. I take my BMW and Mercedes there and when my F150 needs service I'll take that there also

Max did work on two of our Porsche’s. Some of the work he did was great and not a lot of other people could do it. He wouldn’t give us any estimates but just told us it would be done right. Of course our bill was very large and somewhat unexpected. Some of the work was rushed and some minor details where missed. The one thing he quoted me for ended up being triple the price. He had our cars for a total of 4 months maybe more. Yes we where waiting on parts but also the wrong part was ordered multiple times. One of the cars showed up without a fuel leak and water leak and left with a fuel leak
