The Pilates Den is a cozy home based studio where Shannon Lashua offers private Pilates sessions utilizing the Reformer, Tower, Wunda Chair, Mat and lots of small apparatus. The studio is a bright 2nd floor space with lots of windows, overlooking pine and cedar trees off of route 2A in Williston Vermont. Shannon provides a welcoming and unintimidating environment for you to discover the benefits of the Pilates method of body conditioning.
Services
Shannon offers private and semi-private sessions utilizing the Reformer, 1/2 Cadillac, Springboard, Wunda Chair, and other small apparatus. Shannon Lashua is a Polestar certified Pilates instructor, and former dancer originally from New York City. She graduated with a BFA in dance from NYU in 1997 and then went on to get her Personal Training certification that same year.
I drive 45 minutes especially to go to the Pilates Den once a week. It is a highlight of my week because it is the time that I truly feel the doorway between my body and my mind is wide open and the two are acting in unison. I always leave with my body feeling better than when I arrived, and, more importantly, feeling so much better about myself.

I have never had a workout that completely worked my entire body before and just one class with Cate at WundaBar Soho, made me realize what my body is capable of. Cate was hands-on and made sure I had the right form. I loved that class, it was 45-minutes of challenging and toning my muscles. I loved it and I look forward to attending in the future!

This is one of my favorite studios. My only complaint is that they only have one bathroom and no additional changing areas. After class, there are usually at least 2-3 girls that need to change and freshen up so we all have to wait for the bathroom to do so. Seems like a minor add for such a nice $$ class and luxe studio.

An amazing class with Ariana. Ariana provided precise explanations and demonstrations and was very hands on/helpful correcting form to protect us. Great exercises focused on core and balance. Looking forward to my next class with Ariana.
Love all the different styles of the instructors which are challenging and effective but different and therefore, interesting.
It’s great that WundaBar offers late afternoon weekend classes as well.

Rachel is an amazing instructor, she's enthusiastic and knows how to cater the workout to the class level. The studio is clean and spacious enough that we're not on top of one another but also small enough so that the class feels more personalized. I always get a great workout when I come and I never feel overwhelmed or pressured to overexert myself.

I've been seeing Shannon at the Pilates Den for almost 4 years now. She is tremendous, and the best Pilates instructor I've ever had. I wish my schedule allowed for me to take more classes. I always leave feeling balanced, stretched, toned, aligned, refreshed, happy, light, healthy... It really is great. She is very knowledgeable, has tons of experience, and choreographs the classes beautifully. As a Pilates instructor, I aspire to be half as good as she is.
