In the event that you cancel more than thirty (30) days prior to arrival, the deposit will be refunded less a $50 handling charge. Cancellation within thirty (30) days of arrival will be a full forfeit unless the unit is re-rented. You are located in the middle of town with stunning views across Wagner Park to Aspen Mountain.
At the Prospector, each condominium is subdivided into fifteen separate pieces of real estate defined as a "Fractional Estate". You own the same three weeks in the same suite each year. Best of all, Fractional Estate ownership requires only that you pay a fraction for property management, maintenance costs, taxes and all the included amenities.

First time visitor to Aspen, CO; and I had to be dragged away. The Prospector provides so many wonderful amenities - great rooms, decent prices, the most amazing rooftop views AND the icing on the cake - stellar Customer Service! From Michelle and Scott in the office, to Gabby and her impecable cleaning team, to the most effervescent and helpful maintenance engineeer Rene Gonzalez - they made the most amazing trip absolutely magical.

Location Location Location...The Prospector is right where you want to be. You're central to all of the town's amenities, shops, restaurants & bars, and just a short walk to Aspen Mountain Ski Resort. I loved the private hot tub overlooking Wagner Park. Staff is very friendly and accommodating. Thanks again for such a wonderful stay.

I live in Colorado but this was my first time in Aspen. It was a surprise anniversary trip my husband made. When he made reservations the hotel was actually closed (off season) but the owner or caretaker? Scott was extremely pleasant and allowed my husband to book a room. When arriving it may look a bit deceiving. It's a little out of date and not "in style" with the rest of Aspen BUT it is SO well located in the town and you have Aspen Mountain right behind the hotel which is a beautiful view. You are within walking distance of all the shops, restaurants, grocery store, bars/pubs/lounges, everything

Four stars for facilities, five stars for location. Nice place in a fabulous location. The Prospector was built in the 1980's so is dated in design, but it has been regularly refurbished and is very well maintained. Each unit has a bedroom, two full baths, a queen murphy bed and a living room area with a queen sofa bed that also contains a kitchenette and a fireplace. There's also a deck in each unit with a hot tub that looks out on Aspen Mountain. With a location adjacent to Wagner Park, there's arguably not a better location in Aspen Core.
