It is our goal to provide quality mental health care and addiction recovery services to all Preble County residents. Locally, MHRB provides our residents with the tools and services they need to maintain positive mental health and wellness. Access for all to behavioral health services and resources can greatly impact a person's overall health and wellbeing.
In 2015, the Board was required by the Ohio Association of County Behavioral Health Authorities (OACBHA) to complete a self-assessment on our compliance with the Recovery Oriented Systems of Care (ROSC) plan put in place in 2014. ROSC is a way of thinking about service delivery for those with mental illness and/or addiction disorders that focus first and foremost on clients and family members.
The Preble Count Local Crisis Line is available to all residents 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Calling the crisis line will immediately connect you with a mental health professional who can help. You will talk to a live mental health professional who will assess your situation, and attempt to talk you through your crisis.
