In many cases, we can accommodate same day appointments. With our inclusive, multigenerational focus, each family member receives care from the same skilled physician. We offer in-house testing and lab draws, eliminating time spent traveling to and from different medical offices. A nurse will call you with lab results, whether normal or not.

Dr. Shabnam Sachdeva is a caring, and gentle-mannered doctor who sees male and female patients of all ages, from newborn to geriatrics.
Dr. Shabnam Sachdeva has been delivering high-quality, compassionate care since opening her Fairfax and Sterling locations in 2003. Her decision to become a medical practitioner was made early on when, as a young girl, her sister suffered a severe trauma. The sense of helplessness she felt was acute, and that very day she committed herself to becoming a doctor so that she could help others the way she was unable to help her sister.

Our practice specializes in general medical care for children and adults, treating both men and women. As a family doctor, Dr. Sachdeva has offered comprehensive, compassionate care to patients of all ages for approximately eighteen years. We handle medical problems such as ear infections, colds, rashes, headaches, flu symptoms, as well as chronic conditions such as diabetes, high blood pressure, thyroid diseases, and more.
At Total Health Medical Center, we bring dedication, compassion, and expertise to care for your children. Dr. Sachdeva believes in caring for the whole child which means she spends the necessary time required with you and you children answering all your questions. Our office offers routine physical exams for children of all ages.

Dr. Shadiva takes her time with each patient which does make teh wait a bit longer but it is worth it for the care you receive. I recently moved to NC and still come back to VA for regular care in order to see Dr. Shadiva.This office also helps a lot of folks who are in hard situations , medicaid etc, this office has a big heart. I can afford to go anywhere and have Blue Cross and blue shield but prefer an office that actually cares about its patients and isn't in it just for the money, or who may recommend something I don't need just to profit from it. Excellent care in casual office arrangement
