I wish I could say I was happy with A1 tax. I filled with them in May. After I filled I was told, there were no other breaks I qualified for. I found out that because I am a home owner there were more things i could have reported for my taxes (like a gardener, repairs, maintenance) . They never mentioned anything to me about this. Also they gave me instructions on how to pay the IRS online. I followed them. I noticed a month ago online that it stated my taxes were not filled yet. I called A1 and they said the IRS has been backed up and it looks like everything went through on their end. So it brought

I was looking for someone to help me fill out my W-2. I'm new to the area and this business popped up. I made the phone call and the lady who answered was so wonderful. Even though she didn't do my taxes, she gave me detailed instructions on how I should go about my W-2 and why. I really appreciated her help and I'm pretty set on going back to her to actually get my taxes done. I had such a positive experience consulting with her on the phone, even though I'm not an actual client. That to me is gold. Highly recommend.

I have been getting my taxes done by Violet since I was 18. She is the best! She always gives professional advice during and outside of tax season. She works fast and is very good at communicating any problems with your file. If you ever need a copy of your return she will email it to you within minutes, free of charge. Her prices are fair and she charges much less than competing companies. She also has a raffle for her customers every year. You have he chance to win a big screen TV or a laptop she also gives extra entries for referrals. This is my 5th year here and I have no plans to go anywhere

Got my taxes done here a couple months ago and she was awesome! But what really impressed me was when I called her when I needed copies of my taxes for a recent application. She emailed it to me in minutes, free of cost, my old accountant use to charge me 10 dollars anytime he needed to send me something and it took him forever to get back to me when it wasn't tax season.
During my actual return she was very thorough in trying to get me every deduction and gave me some excellent suggestions on some software that allowed me to better keep track of my receipts

Thanks so much violet! You saved me so much money! The last five years I've owed at least a grand every year. Not only did violet help me realize I had a major expense that I was not claiming. She was able to redo my taxes for me for the past 3 years and get me back thousands more!
She was really sweet, my only suggestion is if you need more time to sit down and have a lot of time to talk, go towards the middle of tax season. I originally went in febuary and her phone was off the hook with calls. I returned in March to do the previous three years and it was much quieter and we had a lot

Several months ago I called for help with an emergency Tax problem and I was met with some rude and unexplainable behavior. I originally left a 1 star review. However, after receiving an apology from the Shop owner's Son, I have decided to upgrade my Review from a 1 to a 3 and let people know my experience was based on my first impression. Apparently the owner mistook my call for someone else and it was simply bad timing.
All the above being the case, I still am a stickler for customer service so the best I can do is a 3. This of course should not negate or diminish A1's Tax Preparation
