I was passing through from out of town and stopped to get gas. After filling up my car failed to start. I went into Welk’s and Luis and his team promptly tested my battery—it needed replacement. They ordered a battery and within 20 min had the battery at the shop and installed it quickly and I was on my way. Not only was the service great, but the cost for the install and battery was very reasonable. Thanks!

I had a headlight out and wanted to get it fixed immediately because I drive alot at night. I went to Welks as it is close to home. Luis greeted me and told me they could indeed fix it immediately. He called with an update telling me I needed a new battery before winter as mine was the original for my car and was past the time they usually last. He was so professional I trusted him. Got a text the next day thanking me for my business. I highly recommend Welks and I have done so.

I took my car there to have work done in an oil leak. Turned out it was a transmission leak. I am not a mechanic as you can see. They were very informative and showed me under the car what was happening. The staff is very kind and really took time with my questions. The price was reasonable for what was done. I am very happy with Welk's and will be going back for maintenance and any other things that comes up with my car. I even got a text message asking me how the car was. Who does that in this day and age. It was very refreshing. It is nice to have a place that I can trust.

Welk's Automotive is officially my go to repair shop. They replaced a wheel bearing/wheel speed sensor at a fair price with a quick turnaround. I've had this repair done once before by my old mechanic (retired now). At that time, years ago, I was warned this repair would be needed again since only one side was replaced. When I saw the symptoms and reached out to Welk's, Luis treated me just like my old mechanic (respectful, professional, and kind). They gave me a quote that was a little less than I expected (which was great). It was all around a very pleasant experience. I highly recommend this

I Love my service at this place. Luis is always helpful and tries his best to make sure you are satisfied and the job gets done right. I had my entire engine replaced and they did a great job. They are honest and reliable and don’t try to charge you for something that doesn’t need to be fixed. Rates are very reasonable and they are willing to work with you to get you what you need without breaking your budget. I recommend them 100%

So I’ve been going to Welk’s for the last 5 years. As of recently they’ve gone under new management and I have to say I really felt that they took care of me. They took care of the problem I had and I feel I got a good deal. I’ve had 2 follow ups on the service to make sure their work was done to my satisfaction. I honestly have never had any auto shop work care as much as Welk’s has. I will definitely be coming back for any and all my auto repair needs! Thanks You! I definitely recommend you give them a try!

Honestly the best shop around. They consistently do a great job at a very fair price. What’s personally important to me is that that the owner is straight forward, doesn’t make you feel like you don’t know what you’re talking about and doesn’t make you feeling like you’re getting tricked. They were quick and they gave me options. I’m moving out of the area but I like this place so much that I’ll be returning to the shop for my car maintenance needs.

Awful experience at trying to get my vehicle emissions test done. Went there three separate times and each time was told that their equipment wasn't working or there was no one available to complete the testing. On the third occasion I heard the man at the service desk ask someone in the garage if he was available to complete the testing and the man responded by saying he was on lunch. For a place that offers "walk in" emissions testing it was not convenient at all. Wasted my time on three separate days, and wound up finally making an appointment at a competitor.

I went to Welk's today to get my emissions test done. Pulled me right up and had it done in about two minutes. Scheduled an oil change and transmission service for the next morning. It was all done well, efficiently and with great courtesy. Welk's has been in the same location since the mid-eighties and started in the 50's before that. It is a clean, well run, no hassle, professional shop with good customer service. They are doing something right. I'll be back!

I was running late and called in and the employee said he would wait for me. I then missed my exit, called again to say I wouldn't make it in time, and he offered to stay late. I finally made it after it had closed and he was very friendly and completed my emissions test quickly. Definitely a recommended place for great work and customer service!

They bill for work they do not perform!!
I called and asked for the charge for an alignment and they told me $99 for a 4-wheel alignment. I took my car there for a 4-wheel alignment and the the car stopped there and would not start so they pushed it in their stall and performed what I was told a 4-wheel alignment and was billed for a 4-wheel alignment.
When they finished my car would not start so they pushed it out their stall into their lot and told me it would not start. I understood because the car was older and had been in storage for 3-4 years so I figured it was the battery or the starter

Because my car is old and janky I found that my hood latch had rusted shut once again. I've had this fixed/opened 2 other times, I'm not particularly hopeful this fix will fix it permanently because like I said my car is old.
But the lovely folks at Welk's did pull the whole mechanism and soak it in oil and clean it up so maybe I have cause to be hopeful...
