With more than 40 years of experience in the motorcycle industry, Stick Engineering INC has been around since 1976 and was originally located in Moline, Illinois. Closed for a brief period of time, Stick Engineering INC is back into operation and continues to provide its customers with quality service for their motorcycles.
Stick started Stick Engineering in 1976, in Moline, Illinois. This family run business operated until 1993 when Stick closed the shop and went to work at a local dealership as a technician, where he ended up becoming a service manager. He then took a position with Harley-Davidson Motor Company, where he became an experimental mechanic in product development.

Roadglide was hesitating when going at low rpms, Dave thought might be fuel leak, the pressure tested, all good, codes said o2 seniors, changed those and still problems, changed rear temp, still had problems. Put it in dyno for long time, couldn't find any issues. Took tank off found broken wire, fixed the problem. And they squeezed me in and had it for a bit but problem fixed. Bike little dirty but didnt charge me for all the work he did. This place rocks.

Good quality shop they work with you to try and get the best deal as well as make sure you have the right parts for your bike, service is friendly and fast and they are very knowledgable. one down side is it's an office shop so sometimes it's hard to hear when your talking the the front clerk when the mechanic is working

These guys will kill you.
Left my oil pan loose. Nothing like oil on your rear wheel.
Replaced cam. Push rod is leaking.
Replaced fork seals twice then two sets of tubes. Blaimed it on me.
Check this out---Put the front wheel on wrong. Tire rubbing and disc
riding on a brake pad. Thought I was gonna die. "There is only one way to put the tire on". I said " Yeah. And you didn't do it". Always have to come back cause they missed something. They are nice guys and I like to save a buck. So what. I now go to Harley because nice and saving money don't cut it if I am

Rick, the owner is a great guy, but I don't have much to say about the mechanic the serviced my M/C. after I got home I noticed a big dent in my front fender that wasn't there when I took it in for service and my other M/C, well it had someone else's parts on my bike - I won't use Stick to service either of my M/C's in the future - my recommendation is take photos of your bike at the shop before you leave the shop

Every time I have gone into Stick they have been super helpful and honest with the work or parts they are selling me. It is nice to have confidence in the shop integrity to make sure you are not getting bamboozled, these guys are the real deal. I would highly recommend this shop to a friend looking for a mechanic or part.

Got the bike on the lift, and then took 5 hours to change two tires.
And beat up my front wheel pretty bad
Took the powder coat off in one spot and my rear wheel isn't straight.
Go to see how it rides and the bike goes left without leaning or turning that direction have to lean to the right to go straight

My '06 Harley softail has accent lighting for night riding. I called Stick engineering. made an appointment to drop off bike. They gave me an estimate. This morning I get a call 2 hrs after they opened. Bike is ready and under estimate. Wes told me what was done, showed me the part that caused the lights not to come on when I rode early that morning.
Great Job. Highly recommend this bike shop for any repairs you need for the 2 wheels you ride.

Awful service installed new primary chain returned my Harley
With a leaky primary greasy fingerprints still all over
Chrome cover and the primary is leaking in my garage there was no leak when I brought the bike in to Stick Engineering they replaced the brake pads correctly
I will tell all my friends about their bad service I will also
Not be having any of my work done to my Harley at this shop every again $500.00 for crummy unprofessional

Superstition Harley Davison sold me true duals in a 2016 road glide and couldn’t tune my bike. Decal pop!! Even after Dino tune. Then sold me cross over pipes and still had decal pop!! 3 tunes with the super… tuner they sold me and couldn’t fix it. F SSHD!!!Dave tuned it and now guess what ? It runs and sounds awesome!!! I will never give Superstition Harley any of my business. Thank you Rick and Dave!! I love my bike again

I am totally satisfied with my Ultra Limited conversion to a Motor Trike! Yes it took a bit longer than expected but so worth the extra time to have it right! Stick and crew are always up front, courteous and reliable AND good friends are hard to come by! I highly recommend Stick Engineering for all your Harley needs. Reasonable and honest.
