Every review i post, it gets taken down. Stop being so bitter, like your ice cream. Y'all have violations in the past with animal cruelty during Easter for keeping live animals in your shop for sale without a license. Super Unsanitary. This place is a tourist trap, overpriced and putrid. Let's not even get into the distasteful signs you put out referring to politics. Subpar service from kids behind the counter, especially when it's busy. No organization what's so ever. If I could give zero stars I would. As a Long Island local, steer clear of this place and go across the street

Walked in for a really quick snack. Nobody says welcome, store looks deserted save for a kid on his phone in the corner. The ice cream didn't look too appetizing so I asked for a coconut popsicle. After I pay almost 4 dollars for it, He proceeds to hand me the one from the display which is melted , flat, and expired. I ask him to grab a different one from the freezer, he says that's the only one they have. No refund for me. Most expensive piece of trash yet. Training employees makes a huge difference

I used to work here as a teenager when it was the Crazy Nut House, then the Frigate. It's a special place to me, always was and always will be. The team is very sweet here and George is amazing. Don't let people's bitter politics keep you from coming...they have candy yogurt ice cream and toys, it's not like anyone's having political rallies on top of the yogurt machines. Right across from the harbor, and has stood the test of time, which isn't always easy to do, especially these days...the Frigate will always have my business!

I can't come to Port Jefferson ferry area without stopping here for a treat. I always get ice cream but there is soooo much more try. They carry baked cookies, muffins, cakes and all kind of pastries. The candy selection has anything you could imagine. Also there are healthy smoothie options also. This is a must visit destination spot.

Very much a tourist trap but endearing with the big ice cream cone on the front of the building. Would have given 3 stars had it not been for the fact that the food just wasn't that good. At first it was hard to know what they actually offered and what the prices were, didn't seem to be a legit menu and the people working the counter seemed not to know what flavors were offered for which items, not their fault of course because the whole set up seemed chaotic along with the endless line of customers in the establishment. We had ice cream and an Italian ice. The ice cream was okay in terms

This place stinks. It's a tourist trap that serves disappointing ice cream and candy/sweets that taste old and far from fresh. Perhaps worst of all, it's outright dirty. Bugs are visible inside the cases where they keep the baked goods/fudge - I can only imagine what the back looks like.
Save your money (and your health) and go to one of the other 3 ice cream places that are just a few steps away.

It might be a tourist trap, but it's still a ton of fun!
It's like the M&M shop in NYC. It can get crowded, but it's still fun to window shop and get a nice treat. I always grab some Lavender mints and a few candies that are hard to come by in a brick-and-mortar store.
Our party opted for ice cream and frozen yogurt. The Cotten candy is a bit odd--it has chunks of chocolate chips scattered throughout it instead of pieces of cotton candy. Still enjoyable though.
If you have a dog, they have pet friendly snacks.
Tip: Watch out for the wasps outside! They congregate by the

Roger's is that place that has it all when you suffer of 'sweet tooth.' From candy, cakes, pastries, ice cream, frozen yogurt, coffee, and anything else I might have forgotten.
We went for the frozen yogurt, and almond crescent, both delicious, and not too sweet.
There is seating outside, but limited. You might experience some wasps flying around, so watch it!

I came by with hubs, our son and another family during a Port Jefferson visit. My son was all over the candy, he loved all the choices.
We got ice cream and ate outside and I loved that they had peanut butter ice cream so I could get a peanut butter shake.
I noticed the bakery department had a lot of gluten free options but I was nervous to pick up anything and take it home in the heat, maybe another day.
I like the frigate it's interesting and there are so many sweet choices.

There’s even treats and ice cream for dogs! Wonderful and colorful, I always come here when I’m in the area. Very clean as well!

This has been a staple for dessert close to Stony Brook. They have a selection of desserts so if you want cupcakes, fudge, ice cream, frozen yogurt, candy, and gelato. There's only a small amount of tables for you to sit at, probably two-three small tables with three seats each, which is kind of annoying for how big the actual space is.
The ice cream is always delicious though. I absolutely love their ice cream. If you go now they have specials of the day so if you buy one of the special flavor of the day you can get another for free, which is a really good bargain. I got the mint chocolate
