Ok. First off, I have no idea why this hotel doesn’t literally have a solid 5 stars across the board, but either way this is a 5 star stay!
This place is amazingly comfortable, homey, charming & interesting. There’s also a ton of cool things to do within walking distance & the hotel staff is more than accommodating for their quests. Basically it’s exactly as they advertise!… Very pleased & will try to stay anytime I’m in the area, hopefully next time as a couple. ; )

Absolutely loved the Heritage Inn! It was such a wonderful experience staying at this very quaint and personal establishment. The Inn is filled with so much character. Our room was small but the Inn handles this beautifully by providing areas for reading, work, and socializing outside the room. Really enjoyed sitting on the 2nd floor porch before bed. Highly recommend staying.

Our family stayed at the Heritage Inn while traveling through New Mexico and making a trip to Carlsbad Caverns. It was the perfect little spot! The service was 5 Star, rooms were clean and comfortable, and the town of Artesia was a little gem. Definitely recommend staying here. Nita the Innkeeper was amazing! Thanks for making our vacation even better!

Stayed here about a year ago and after spending months on the road at many different hotels, I found this place to be a diamond in the ruff. Staff was super helpful and very friendly. The room was a little smaller then your standard hotel rooms but all was newly remodeled and very clean. The shower was the best one I’ve had ever used, that’s including my home shower. Great experience over all. Would definitely stay there again if I’m ever in the area
