No words can fully describe the beauty of Cades Cove! The trip on a one-way, 11-mile loop road perfectly combines cultural history with natural beauty; in fact, the 4,000-acre valley is often referred to as an open-air museum. Three of five original churches remain in Cades Cove today. The oldest among them is the Primitive Baptist Church, built in 1827.

The Knottywood Cabin was so beautiful and clean. The view of the Mountains are so beautiful at Outback Rentals. My husband and I will definitely be back. The lady Sabryna was very helpful and answered every question, I had. The structure and layout of it was just awww! I would love to have a house just like that! I want to Thank you Out back Rentals for the experience. I will recommend your cabins any day. I have already started since I been back home. Keep up the Great Work!đź‘Ť

NEW WALLABY OWNER PLEASE READ I was booked for beginning of May For Wallaby but rescheduled for end of May due to states shut down due to covid. Im an essential medical worker employed by hospital in Louisiana. Around 3 weeks before my vacation, my boss said that I would need to change my vacation dates due to staffing because of covid. I reached out to Outback to see if i could use my deposit to reschedule for another time or get refund.Office worker said that her office phone was down and we would have to communicate by texts. By text message, I was told that the money department said no. No

Extremely disappointed in my stay at Swagman. The owner of the property Sabrina was the most difficult, disrespectful person I have had to deal with. My family and I are in shock at the things she said to us.
I messaged Sabrina asking for the information to get into the cabin (because I had not received the information prior to the day we left for our trip, or even early morning) she took awhile to get back to me, which is fine I get it. However, when she did reply she sent me the codes and followed up with “BTW I sent the codes a couple days ago not sure what happened.” Kind of upsetting

The customer service was poor. We stayed in the Knottywood and had no complaints with the cabin, but the Outback customer service was horrible. They forgot to give us the ADT security code which we set off when we first arrived and a week after we checked out, they informed us via a long text message that “your people ruined 7 of our towels”. First of all, you don’t have a conversation like this via texting and secondly, we did not ruin their towels. I suspect the housekeeper did something to them and blamed us. They wanted to charge us $70 for damaged towels.

BEWARE... Our stay at the cabin was fine, until we left.
We were accused of breaking a sink drain. They said we hit a sink drain too hard and made it leak... REALLY??? !!!!! It wasn't leaking when we left the house. Take pictures of everything before you leave. The people who are in charge are extremely rude and very hard to work with. I was extremely disappointed! From other comments and reviews it looks like this has happened to several families.

DO NOT STAY HERE!! On our recent trip, our group had numerous problems with this company.
First, we were told check-in time was 3pm. When we arrived right at 3pm on our first day, the cabin had clearly not been cleaned: dirty linens, lots of trash and items in the fridge. After much effort in tracking down the company (didn’t answer texts or calls for quite some time), we finally got them to bring the cleaners out by 6pm. This is after we were told the cleaners were on their way and would only take 30 minutes, and they still weren’t there 1.5 hours later after we left the cabin to go to the

Very nice experience with Outback Rentals. We planned an impromptu Gatlinburg getaway, and were lucky to find this house -The Koala. Booking was easy over the phone, prices were some of the most reasonable I have seen , esp regarding cleaning fee , etc. Check in was a breeze, home was very nice, very clean, and my teenage girl group enjoyed the space very much. The internet was Fantastic, large smart TV, beds very comfortable, just a lovely retreat for the weekend.

When we booked through outback rentals there website wasnt displaying the days available correctly so when we called the representative who assist us and was very helpful. She helped us find a cabin during the time we were going and made accommodationsure for our dog. We ended up booking and staying at the kangaroo cabin which had enough rooms for the 2 adults and 3 teenagers we had. The cabin was nice and clean but some of the furniture was really weathered and used and the dart board had no tips so it was unusable. The beds were noisy and there were bats in the attic which we didn't hear until

The cabin was the best part of my stay! (Since Labour day weekend had streets packed with cars moving at 20 mph). We were a party of 11 staying at Walkabout Way. The cabin was exactly like the photos. maybe better. Our hot tub was dirty but they fixed it as soon as we told them. There was no restriction on check in time. The roads leading there are sure steep and not for a new driver. There are a lot of rules around the cabin but I have lived in other cabins and they have it too. We booked not too much in advance and yet got a pretty cheap deal of 720$ for two nights for a huge 4 bedroom cabin

I recently stayed at the Outback Rentals & Resort for an extended weekend with my family. We stayed in the Wallaby and while I admit the cabin is beautiful, I was all around disappointed in the Outback. We arrived Friday night and the place didn't look to be cleaned and bugs were everywhere. Ladybugs were all over the floors and we had to wear shoes at all times not to step on them with bare feet. There was a sign in the cabin regarding the ladybugs infestation, but that is not the only bugs we had. We looked through the cabin to find wasps, huge crickets and spiders were in the tub, sink and corners
