The cabin we rented was absolutely beautiful and well maintained. The view is spectacular. The only problem was the Hot Water seemed to run out very quickly.
Other than that we loved it.

This was our first trip to Gatlinburg. About The Smokies is a great rental company with amazing rates. We stayed in Secret Hideaway. The cabin was beautifully decorated and very clean. Ms. Denise was very helpful in answering any questions I had before our arrival. While there were other cabins in our "neighborhood," our cabin was secluded. I would definitely recommend this company. We hope to return soon.

If I could give 0 stars I would. My family and I stayed here for Christmas in hopes of a white Christmas. We stayed December 20th-27th. On Christmas Eve, December, 24th, the power went out and and was never restored for our entire stay. We eventually were able to leave the cabin on December 26th and had to get a hotel. We were never offered any type of credit or reimbursement of any sort even though the power was out for 3 days and we left a day early!!! The lady who runs the place treats you like you are just another contract. I tried to work with her and even asked just for reimbursement for

We stayed at this cabin Secret Hideaway from 6/23/19 - 6/27/19. The cabin was beautiful. The owners had everything covered. Kitchen was fully stocked with cookware and dishes. Nice Hot tub on the back deck, very private, this will be our go to cabin every time we’re in the Smokey Mountains Gatlinburg/Pigeon Forge area. This cabin is snuggled up in the mountains between Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge, 10 - 15 minutes to either. Turkeys visited us every morning, didn’t get to see a bear though I was hoping too. I can honestly say this is one of the best cabins, if not the best that I have ever stayed

This was the best family vacation I've ever had. What a great find! About the Smokies found the perfect cabin for our family of 4. The cabin was Immaculate and words can't even begin to describe the beautiful view of the Smoky Mountains that we had. It was breathtaking. The cabin was beautiful and had all of the amenities that you would possibly need. Having a glass of wine while in the hot tub looking out at that amazing view was just perfect. The people at about the Smokies were very pleasant to work with. The few small issues and questions that we had were handled immediately. We couldn't get

I highly recommend the Dancing Bear Retreat!! We've stayed at many cabins over the years and this was my favorite!
-The view was stunning
-Very spacious with plenty of room to spread out
-It was entirely private
-The cabin was squeaky clean and had all of the amenities we needed and then some
-Our point of contact was extremely friendly and helpful throughout, which made things that much better
-Perfectly located between Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg so we had easy access to both.
Will definitely stay here again!

FANTASTIC! My husband and I have rented from "About the Smokies" two or three times. I think three, my husband thinks two, lol! Either way, we LOVE their cabins. The first time, we stayed in "Stairway to Heaven". The view was amazing, it was a one-bedroom cabin and was adorable, clean and had everything that we needed. When we started to plan our next vacation, we immediately contacted "About the Smokies" again. Sadly, "Stairway to Heaven" was no longer available. We were so disappointed because we didn't think another cabin would have a better

Awesome cabins!! Stayed at different cabins year after year and they just keep getting better. Mountain Splendor has a great view and the hot tub is so big and perfect temperature for relaxing.
Everything we needed to cook with was provided so it was nice to bring our own food and make special meals. The loft bedroom is cozy with a second fireplace!
We never want to leave!! See you next year!

My boyfriend and I recently stayed in Awesome Views, a 1 bed, 1.5 bath cabin rental through About The Smokies. The road to get to this cabin was very winding and hilly, and lucky for us there was no snow or ice on the roads but take caution if you do rent this cabin in the winter. While the listing says seven minutes to downtown Gatlinburg it actually takes about 13 minutes, which still isn't bad. Location wise we were very happy. There is a Food City grocery store nearby, and the Arts and Crafts district is just a short drive.

When we pulled in, it was dark and I couldn't see the view

My family and I went down for my birthday weekend and this place was great. We stayed in one of the cabins and it was fantastic. It was located so convenient to both Downtown Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge. I can't say enough about the staff as everything was so easy. They had a hot tub, a pool table, jacuzzi tub, big comfy beds and a cozy fireplace. You really couldn't have a better mountain paradise. I would recommend All about the smokies to anybody wanting to stay in the area. They had an incredible selection of cabins that all looked very updated and very nice. See Denise if you want a great

Great house "Forget me not". No returned phone call once - not happy. Broken ceiling fan high above - no one fixed, although we reported it immediately since the upstairs was hot.

Kitchen great - now has pot holders/trivits - hot tub perfect. Grill misleading, as the photo shows a real grill instead of the now campsite simple stand in the front of the house. They need to get a decent grill or remove the picture.

Rooms great, but need a dresser or some kind. Downstairs sitting room pool table/ fuse ball perfect. TVs great - wi-fi also fine.

Mattress in downstairs bedroom MUST

We stayed at the smoky waters. I called the office because they charged a cleaning fee and the cover that goes over the air filter was dirty. She stated she will send someone and they never showed up. The bed on the first floor was not in good conditions. The second floor fan will not work. The fireplace smelled like gas. The walls were dusty and the mirror on the bathroom was broken. Some of the appliances were dated. The want you to leave the house clean so they don't have to pay someone to do it so what is the cleaning fee for? They were bugs inside the house. Overall I will not choose

My wife and I stayed at "Serenity Pointe" for three nights for our honeymoon in Gatlinburg. IT was a one bed bed loft style, with the pool table and hot tub on the deck. There was also a jacuzzi tub. The cabin was private, not quite new, and a cozy get away spot for a fantastic price. There we're a couple minor thing like the toilet paper roll fell off the wall and there was only onepool cue. The bed creaked a bit, but the view from there was fantastic. It took a bit to figure out how to get the cable on the main TV to work, but the TV upstairs in the loft by the bed had all the

Upon arriving our cabin we noticed the cabin was a bit older than shown in the pictures detailed online. I would guess the pictures online were take at least 5 years ago with minimum upkeep of the cabin. The TV was left on at a very high volume and the cabin did not seem to be cleaned properly. After inspecting the cabin we found cobwebs all over the inside of the cabin in places such a routine cleaning should have taken care of. The deck did not look like it was safe to be standing on especially the railing it looked as if we leaned on it that it would fall apart. The two charcoal grills looked

FIRST TO REVIEW?! This is the best cabin rental place in the Gatlinburg area. I have rented from them twice now but I will not go anywhere else. These cabins are great because they are clean, new and accommodating. The owners or management are super nice The two I stayed in had fireplaces (one had an outside fireplace), great kitchens (with room to cook if you like), bathrooms (with Jacuzzi tubs), bedrooms (great beds, mattresses were soft) and hot tub ( for 4-6 people). The views were terrific and vast from the decks. The first cabin had a wrap around deck supplied with big rocking chairs and
