Jay Piskin, D.D.S. offers a full array of dental services to help you maintain healthy teeth. Your initial oral examination includes a visual examination, charting, periodontal probing, diagnosis and treatment recommendations.
We will also take x-rays, which includes the panoramic x-ray for proper diagnosis of the anterior (front) and posterior (back) teeth as well as the bite-wing x-ray series for proper diagnosis of proximal decay of posterior teeth.We will work with an implant specialist to create an implant for a missing single tooth, missing multiple teeth, or replace a removable appliance.

Jay Piskin, D, D.S.,F .A.G.D., received his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from New York University in 1982. He then completed his general practice Residency Program at Montefiore Hospital in the Bronx, New York in 1983.

What can I say about Doctor Jay that hasn’t been said already? The man is one of the most competent and compassionate dentists I’ve ever went to. He is very through, and he is very knowledgeable—the man lives and breathes dentistry. His staff are the most professional and courteous people you’ll ever meet, and they truly care about the welfare of the patients.

I've been very lucky to have had Dr. Piskin as my dentist for over 34 years. I know it is at least 34 years because, when I was 14, he was there fixing my mouth after I suffered a trauma to my two front teeth. Thirteen years later, at a Sting concert in Central Park, my two veneers came out while biting into a crusty chicken cutlet hero. It would not have been a big deal, except for the fact that I was getting married three days later. This dentist charged me $1,000 more than two other dentists that I consulted. He refused to refund the difference. If you live in Garden City be sure to make up an address because he will bill you according to your address rather than the work performed. Extremely unethical dentist who makes no effort to correct nor apologize for his greed.

I just started seeing Dr. Piskin back in August. My wife has been a patient of his for years. I went there because I was having some pain on one side of my mouth right before we were set to go on our honeymoon. Dr. Piskin is very thorough and he is outstanding at what he does. It is no wonder why patients come all the way from Westchester to see him. I am never a big fan of going to the dentist, but the few times I have been to Dr. Piskin, he has made it a more enjoyable experience.

My previous dentist retired, I was a patient there 20 years and my wife was there over 30 years. I broke a tooth and was forced to find a dentist. Being a big chicken when it comes to dental work, I found Dr. Piskin. From the first moment there, I was made to feel at ease, and was told exactly what will happen and possible complications. His work was complete and gentle. I was very relaxed and as a bonus, finding a dentist with a sense of humor. His staff, from Maria at the front desk, to the hygienists made me feel I could make it though dental work without an anxiety attack.....
